The Memphis Grizzlies are in the Bay Area for their fourth and final stop of a four-game road trip on Wednesday night. The Grizzlies are reeling after a 133-100 loss to the Kings on Monday night. We have the latest Grizzlies vs. Warriors odds from Bovada and our best bets at the Chase Center.

ESPN is in San Francisco for the second game of a doubleheader tonight. It is a big matchup featuring two teams that could be the last ones standing in the Western Conference. It doesn’t really look like it at the moment in the standings, but do not look past the Warriors.

The defending champions are a game below .500 at 23-24. The odds are stacked against them repeating. However, when the Warriors are healthy and interested, they’re tough for any team to beat.

The Grizzlies enter Wednesday night with a record of 31-16. They are 2.5 games behind the Denver Nuggets for the lead in the West. If it wasn’t for this three-game losing streak, they’d probably have the advantage over the Nuggets.

Following a franchise-tying 11th straight win, the Warriors have cooled off with three losses in a row. They have never been a good team away this season, and are currently caught in the midst of a lackluster road trip.

Grizzlies vs. Warriors Predictions

The Grizzlies might be a 31-16 team and second in the Western Conference, but they have not been a great bet this season. In fact, the Grizzlies have been rather disappointing against the spread.

If you don’t know much about sports betting, it would appear on the surface that the Grizzlies have been a strong bet. That has not been the case, at least against the spread.

The Grizzlies and Warriors are both 22-24-1 ATS this season. Overall, the Warriors are a game under .500, so their records can be deceiving. Memphis has been especially disappointing on the road this season.

Grizzlies Need Home Court Advantage

It is going to be important for the Grizzlies to have home-court advantage for the playoffs. There are some teams that can play no matter the floor. This Grizzlies team does not care for going to an opposing gym to play.

They are 20-3 at home this in the 2022-23 season. With only three losses, the Grizzlies are one of the best at home. The same can’t be said for their experience on the road.

The Grizzlies are just 11-13 as a visiting team. They’ve covered the spread in just eight of 24 games. On the other side, the Warriors are just like Grizzlies.

Golden State struggles to win on the road, but are strong at home. They’re 17-6 at the Chase Center going into this evening. Overall, the Warriors are third in the NBA with 117 points per game, with that number up to 119 points at home.

Steven Adams a Huge Loss

For a casual NBA fan, Steven Adams does not register on their radar. He is nothing more than a footnote. However, Adams plays an important role on this team.

The Grizzlies are first in offensive rebounding largely because of Adams. They pick up a lot of second-chance points around the rim because of him. The Grizzlies are just 19th from the field with a 47% field goal percentage, but seventh in scoring per game.

That is because of their ability to fight for buckets after missing shots. Adams is gone for at least 3-5 weeks, so the Grizzlies need to replace his production elsewhere. Expect the Warriors to benefit nicely without Adams on the floor.

Grizzlies vs. Warriors Betting Pick

The Grizzlies are a good team, but they are not as good as their record indicates without Adams. He will be missed at the Chase Center tonight.

A lot of the problems for the Warriors this season have stemmed from sloppy defensive work. They’ve conceded an average of 118 points per game for 27th in the NBA. That said, the Warriors have given up an impressive 112.8 points on 44.8% shooting per game in the Bay Area.

For our Grizzlies vs. Warriors prediction, we are backing the home team in a projected win of 116-109.
