Cristiano Ronaldo Next Team Odds and Predictions – Where Will CR7 Play Next?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s next team odds are a hot betting market right now! The legendary soccer superstar seems to be done at Al-Nassr. But could he stay in Saudi Arabia with another club? Could he join a team in Mexico or Europe? Might he even team up with Lionel Messi in Miami?

I’ll take a look at the odds for a few clubs, and give my prediction on Ronaldo’s next team in the conclusion of this article!

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Team Odds (on June 14)

TEAMODDS
Al-Hilal+165
CF Monterrey+400
Sporting CP+500
Botofogo+600
Los Angeles FC+600
Al-Nassr+700
Olympiakos+1800
Inter Miami+2200
Fluminense+2500
Any Turkish Team+2500
Boca Juniors+2500
Palmeiras+2500
Flamengo+2500
Real Madrid+2500
Chelsea+2500

The Cristiano Ronaldo next team odds favor Al-Hilal (+165) with an implied win probability of 37.7% to land the Portugal captain! It would be a massive boost for Al-Hilal as the 40-year-old Ronaldo last played for Al-Nassr (+700), their biggest rival. Al-Nassr has a 12.5% chance to hang on to the superstar, but it seems like Ronaldo’s time with the club is over.

Monterrey (+400), Botofogo (+600), and Los Angeles FC (+600) are all in the mix at soccer betting sites, which makes sense. Ronaldo is rumored to want to play for a team in this summer’s Club World Cup, which kicks off on June 14, which is the reason the market will be settled on that date.

All three of these clubs are participating in the expanded tournament, as are numerous teams in these Ronaldo next team odds.

The most intriguing team on the board is Inter Miami (+2200), the hosts of the Club World Cup. Would Ronaldo play with his longtime rival, Lionel Messi? The fan bases for the two players might implode if that were to happen!

Why Is Cristiano Ronaldo Leaving Al-Nassr?

Ronaldo signed with Al-Nassr in December 2022, but his contract expires at the end of June. There is an extension on the table and has been since February, but Ronaldo hasn’t signed. The star forward posted on his social-media channels that “this chapter is over”, referring to his time at Al-Nassr.

Ronaldo was the leading scorer in the Saudi Pro League in two of his three seasons, but he never won a trophy with the club. Al-Nassr finished second, second, and third in his time in Saudi Arabia. They were knocked out of the AFC Champions League quarterfinals in 2024 and in the semifinals this year.

It seems like Ronaldo wants more silverware to add to his glittering resume, which is where the Club World Cup rumors are coming from. FIFA president Gianni Infantino isn’t helping matters, claiming that Ronaldo could play for a team in the tournament.

The deal would have to come together quickly as it starts in just over two weeks across the United States. Al-Nassr probably still has something to say about the matter as Ronaldo’s contract officially goes until the end of the month.

Now, let’s take a look at a few clubs that might end up as Cristiano Ronaldo’s next team!

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Team Betting Favorites

Al-Hilal (+165)

By all accounts, this is the team that makes the most sense for Ronaldo. The Al Nassr extension would cut his salary in half to a “measly” $110 million per year, so it would be interesting to see if Al-Hilal would increase that.

You also have to remember that Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr are both owned by the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF). This could make the deal easier to do, or possibly more difficult if Ronaldo isn’t offered more money.

On the pitch, Ronaldo would be alongside several former players from the major European Leagues. He would join Kalidou Koulibaly, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Sergej Milinkovic. Portugal teammates Ruben Neves and João Cancelo are also on the team headed to the United States for the Club World Cup. If he were to sign with Al-Hilal, the Al-Nassr fans won’t be happy.

However, Ronaldo has never been afraid to do whatever he wants. He would almost certainly give their Club World Cup odds a boost!

Coincidentally, Al-Hilal is in a group with Real Madrid, where Ronaldo spent nine seasons. While in Madrid, Ronaldo won two La Liga titles, four Champions Leagues, and four Ballon d’Or awards. If the veteran were to sign here, his first game would be against Madrid! How’s that for a narrative?

Monterrey (+400)

Monterrey is also in the Club World Cup, which gives them a leg up on the competition. But they also have a trump card.

Sergio Ramos plays for Monterrey, but he was also at Madrid for Ronaldo’s entire time there. The two are reported to be very close. You can bet that Ramos has sent a text or two Ronaldo’s way, telling him about the Mexican club.

Ronaldo would likely have to take a massive pay cut to make the deal happen. No team can pay him what he’s making in Saudi Arabia. Ramos is reportedly making $4 million a year at Monterrey, which Ronaldo finds in his couch cushions. But maybe Ronaldo will put aside money for friendship, and a chance to win more titles!

Sporting Lisbon (+500)

Sporting is the only team in the Cristiano Ronaldo next team odds that aren’t in the Club World Cup, but they have a special connection to the superstar.

Ronaldo started his career at Sporting back in 1997, playing with the academy, and then joining the senior team in 2002 at 17 years old. He was signed by Manchester United in 2003 after running their defenders ragged in a friendly match against Sporting.

Sporting is likely to lose striker Viktor Gyokeres, who is tipped to make a big-money move this summer. That means Sporting needs a forward. But do the Portuguese club require a 40-year-old striker whose time might be up at this level? It seems like a move seeped in sentimentality more than practicality. Furthermore, again, Ronaldo would have to take a big pay cut here.

Botofogo/LAFC (+600)

Botofogo is reportedly being considered as they’re owned by John Textor, who also owns England’s Crystal Palace. Textor has said that Ronaldo can have shares in Palace if he joins Botofogo before the Club World Cup.

Los Angeles FC also have to be looked at as Major League Soccer is known to help out with gigantic transfers, such as Messi to Inter Miami, and David Beckham’s initial transfer to the LA Galaxy. Beckham, of course, is now the face of the ownership group in Miami that helped make the Messi deal happen.

But I would rule these two clubs out of the Cristiano Ronaldo next team betting odds, as it doesn’t make a lot of sense for the player.

The Sneaky Cristiano Ronaldo Next Team Longshot Bet

Inter Miami (+2200)

Bear with me for a minute here. I’m actually shocked the Cristiano Ronaldo next team odds for Inter Miami are this low. It would take a massive shift of egos for this to happen. Insider Fabrizio Romano threw cold water on this story back in March.

I’m not sure that Ronaldo could take the thought of people saying that he had to join up with Messi. The locker room would likely be a mess as the Argentinian is the captain there. But Ronaldo would come in and try to change things to his liking.

But I’m not counting anything out from Beckham and Inter Miami. Beckham’s last year at Manchester United was just before Ronaldo’s first year there. The English star also left Madrid two years before Ronaldo joined. The two must know each other. No one thought Miami could pull off the Messi deal, but here we are. For that alone, Inter Miami has to be respected.

Cristiano Ronaldo Next Team Prediction

I’m sticking with the favorites, Al-Hilal, at +165 for my Cristiano Ronaldo next team prediction. It would be the easiest deal to make happen, although Al-Nassr fans would be upset. But outside of the Club World Cup, Ronaldo would be able to stay in the same league, which he is used to, and he can score countless goals again.

He might not make as much money as he is now, but no one can offer him as much money as they can in Saudi Arabia. Even with a net worth of $800 million, we know Ronaldo still wants to maximize the few active years he has left.

The PIF will also do everything in their power to keep him in Saudi Arabia, a league that wouldn’t get much attention if Ronaldo leaves.

For content’s sake, I would love for Inter Miami to happen. But I think Al-Hilal has the inside track, and I would bet on them at +165!
