Spanish La Liga Predictions Today: Primera Best Bets for October 26

My Spanish La Liga predictions for today feature a pick for El Clasico and another recommended bet. I’ve selected them after going through the odds for all games, plenty of stats, team news, and more.

With that in mind, here are my recommended La Liga betting picks for October 26.

Best Bets for the Spanish Primera Division Today, October 26 (With Reasoning)

Here’s the reasoning behind my Spanish Primera Liga predictions for today, October 26.

Real Madrid vs Barcelona: BTS & Over 2.5 Goals + Mbappe Anytime Scorer (+105)

Sunday’s La Liga predictions have to start with one of the biggest matches on the European soccer calendar. The first edition of El Clasico this season sees both sides at the top of the table, with Real Madrid leading by two points.

Both teams got big Champions League wins this week. Barcelona routed Olympiacos 6-1. Fermin Lopez netted a hat-trick, Marcus Rashford a brace and Lamine Yamal added a penalty. Even without the injured Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, and Gavi, Barcelona have goals all over their roster.

Still, none of those players have more goals than Kylian Mbappe who leads La Liga with ten. Mbappe was held off of the scoresheet on Wednesday, in Los Blancos’ 1-0 win over Juventus. That snapped a run of 11 straight games across all matches where the French star had scored.

If I’m picking a winner, I’d lean to Madrid. They’ve lost just once across all matches this season. They’ll also have revenge on their minds after losing to Barcelona all four times last year.

However, Real have injuries piling up themselves on the defensive end. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Antonio Rudiger, Dean Huijsen, and Dani Carvajal are all set to miss out.

Those four Barca wins last year came by scores of 4-0, 5-2, 3-2, and 4-3, therefore, the safer bet to make could be to simply back the goals market with Mbappe contributing. The Frenchman is probably the best player in the world right now, while El Clasico usually delivers plenty of chances.

The Bet
BTS + Over 2.5 + Mbappe Anytime Scorer
+105

Osasuna vs Celta Vigo: Under 2.5 (-145)

This one shouldn’t be anywhere near as exciting as El Clasico. But Osasuna versus Celta Vigo can still produce some solid betting opportunities in the totals market.

These are the two highest-rated Under 2.5 teams in La Liga. Celta Vigo are 8-1 to the Under, while Osasuna is 7-2.

Both teams have struggled to score with Los Rojillos scoring just seven times and Os Celestes just eight. Only the bottom two sides of Real Oviedo and Girona have scored fewer. That has resulted in Osasuna averaging the fewest goals per game in their matches at 1.8 and Celta’s averaging just 2.1.

Go further into the offensive stats and Osasuna have put the fewest shots on target overall, while Celta Vigo is still the only team yet to win a game at 0-7-2.

With seven draws and all seven coming by 1-1 scorelines, that’s certainly a tempting trend to ride once again. Whether you’re backing a draw (+220) or the Under, I’m expecting another low-scoring match.
