2023 Boxing Futures Odds and Top Bets

2023 Boxing Futures Best Bets

2023 is staged to be one of the biggest years in boxing. Tyson Fury vs Usyk is being teased, and there are several other champions finally having their title tested. 2023 boxing futures give us an opportunity to bet before the lines start to move, and give those of us with foresite superior odds on favorites. We’ll also look at 2023 influencer boxing futures; since influencer boxing had a heyday in 2022. We can expect to see even more bets on the table at the top boxing betting sites.

Top 2023 Boxing Futures Bets

First we’re looking at some of the most anticipated matches of 2023, some of these are scheduled for January through March, but fights like Usyk vs Fury haven’t set a date or signed a contract.

Ryan Garcia +185 vs Gervonta Davis -225

This may be one of the more competitive and exciting matches of the 2023 boxing futures available. Davis has a fight in early January, but it’s a near perfect opponent for another brutal knockout. Garcia has fans in spades, so there is a chance he moves closer to even by fight time. If you’re planning on betting Garcia, do it now. This fight is competitive, and neither man has faced a knockout artist of this accolade. We’ll be betting on the under props when the time comes.

Artur Beterbiev -1250 vs Anthony Yarde +700

This fight is slated for late January and if you’re looking for a 2023 Boxing futures parlay, this is the fight. Beterbiev is 18-0 with a 100% KO ratio, making Yarde’s KO loss to Kovalev stick out like a sore thumb. Yes, Yarde is a powerhouse with an 88% knockout ratio himself, but we think he may have developed the style over the last two years to go the distance with Beterbiev.

This title unifier has the WBO, WBC and IBF belts on the line. Fans will flock to Beterbiev’s money line, which we think should be near -1700. As it stands, your Beterbeiv wager nets you $8 per $100 wagered, which isn’t bad on an undefeated champion.

Jermell Charlo -350 vs Tim Tszyu +275

Another late January bout with odds that will change rapidly, Charlo vs undefeated TIm Tszyu. The only person to beat Charlo is Tony Harrison back in 2018. He’s coming off an avenged draw, knocking out Brian Castano in ten rounds. Tszyu’s win over Takeshi Inoue shocked us, and the Super Welterweight’s knockout power (71.4%) is the highest Charlo has faced in his last five bouts aside from Jorge Cota- who’s facing a lifetime PED suspension. We think Tszyu has all the tools to win. There’s no rush betting on this boxing future, because the odds should remain mostly stable.

Tyson Fury -280 vs Usyk Oleksandr +220

This is my most anticipated match up of 2023. It’s a fight that should have happened this year, aside from the war in Ukraine sidelining Usyk and Fury’s insistence that ducking Usyk shouldn’t affect his legacy. Usyk as the underdog should come fight time, due to Fury’s size and knockout power. The biggest concern for fight analysts is how much the referee will allow Fury to clench and lay on the much smaller Usyk, but from a technical striking perspective Fury’s head movement prioritized style should be terrified of the Usyk jab. If you’re a Fury fan, bet now. Usyk fans might wait until a bit closer to fight time, because his money line is bound to drop closer to +300.

Arutr Beterbiev -105 vs Dmitry Bivol -125

Looking at late 2023, Beterbiev vs Bivol is the obvious choice for the next title challenger. Bivol still needs to schedule a fight in between to stay active, with his last fight being the November dismantling of Gilberto Ramirez, then 44-0. Dmitry Bivol is a much more conservative fighter, who’s more than happy to play the outside and school fighters on the art of the 1-2 combination. He may be more of a household name given his win over Canelo, and we suspect that will move him to a stronger favorite position come fight time.

Bivol Fans Should Bet Now, Beterbiev Should Win

Personally, we think Beterbiev has better position, and superior body-head combinations. Whoever wins will unify the light heavyweight title for the first time since 1999, with Roy Jones Jr beating Virgil Hill. Bivol fans should bet early on this historic boxing match up.

Chris Eubank Jr -125 vs Liam Smith +185

Eubank is on a seven fight winning streak since his loss to George Groves in 2018. Smith has been on a similar track, going 3-0 since losing to Kurbanov in 2021.Smith is the underdog because of a lock of consistency. His three losses have come since 2016, losing to Canelo Munguia and Kurbanov. While Smith has incredible knockout power, he’s taken a beating over the past three years and it will cost him against the heavy handed Eubank.

Eubank Fans Should Bet Early, Smith Fans Should Wait

We think Eubank has an easy night with a knockout in rounds 7-10. His -125 money line will move to -250 or better closer to fight time. We think you should take the under prop bet as a Smith fan. Avoid the money line, and hope someone gets a KO.

2023 Celebrity and Influencer Boxing Futures

Onto the hottest trend in boxing, watching celebrities and internet influencers beat the snot out of each other. The drug testing is limited and the production value is high for these 2023 Influencer and Celebrity Boxing futures.

Connor McGregor +400 vs Floyd Mayweather -600 Rematch

The idea that Mayweahter pays $16.67 per $100 wager is mind boggling. He toyed with McGregor in fight one, and the former two time champion was a shadow of himself in his past few fights. McGregor may be allowed to use PED’s during his recovery, but if this fight happens, bet the house that Mayweather and his team will ensure proper testing is administered.

How to Bet on McGregor vs Mayweather

We’re thinking that this is an excellent addition to a futures parlay bet. Couple this bout with Beterbiev -1250 odds from early in the year, and consider tacking on your Fury vs Usyk pick for a more notable return. I consider -600 on Mayweather to be one of the best futures of 2023 and possibly ever.

Connor McGregor -2000 vs Artem Lobov+700

Lobov isn’t a striker. He’s gone 2-5 in the UFC in a three year run from 2015-2018. He’s now 14-15-1 for his career, and at 36 years old he’s not seen serious competition in four years. His BKFC bouts were a joke, and he’s been hurt badly against fighters with any real power. McGregor is going to destroy him.

Betting on McGregor to Beat Artem

Mystic Mac has been beefing up for the past two years, so this fight probably won’t happen. For that reason, we’re not including it on our three fight parlays. Fans of McGregor should drop about $500 on this fight, paying out $25 on McGregor. That’s enough to buy a bottle of Proper Twelve in celebration. There is no other way to play this fight.

Jake Paul -300 vs Nate Diaz +240

This is another one sided bout. Diaz is a fine boxer in MMA, but facing a fighter two weight classes heavier who has unlimited access to PEDs is a mistake. Diaz has been publicly advised by his managers and the UFC that this is not a good fight for him. Paul’s 1:3 return is fantastic, and he’s likely to beat any MMA fighter at the end of their career that he faces. Diaz has a chin for days, but after a career of punishment Paul should get the finish.

What if the Jake Paul Fight is Fixed?

First and foremost, you’ll get your money back. If there is ever any proof of collusion your wager would have to be returned. However, that seems less and less likely. This is a story about selecting the right fighters and avoiding drug testing at all costs. Shady? Maybe, but you should use that knowledge to make your bet.

Jake Paul -400 vs Andrew Tate +250

Tate fans will come out of the woodwork to make this fight interesting, moving Tates money line to near even as the fight approaches. They’d be boxing, not kickboxing (Tate’s past sport) and Paul has an advantage in weight, age, knockout percentage, reach and momentum. Andrew Tate’s last fight was in 2016, though he fought a couple scrubs this year to stay relevant. His 76-9 record was primarily for the ISKA and Enfusion. Note that these are not Glory or K-1.

Paul Fans Should Wait on Tate Future Bets

Paul will drop in favorite status closer to fight time. At 36 with three career knockout losses, Tate is ripe for a big loss. If he wants the money and wants back in the limelight, we’ll see this fight come to pass, growing the Jake Paul fanbase to one of the biggest in celebrity boxing.

KSI -400 vs Dillon Danis +300

Danis is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and not a boxer by any use of the word. KSI is a Youtuber, and has more time in the ring than Danis, but fewer combat sports accolades. While this fight feels more like a joke than a main event, we’ll be tuning in to see Danis get the brakes beaten off of him by a British gamer. Bet KSI now, we’re betting Danis and his army of haters move his money line to closer to +500 by fight night.

2023’s Biggest Champions and Moving Money Lines

There aren’t as many boxing futures as there are MMA futures for 2023, but if you’re coupling them both you can make some very confident parlay tickets, such as adding together Beterbiev and Makhachev. Bet early on big favorites or popular fighters to get the most out of your 2023 boxing futures; and we want to touch again on how crazy the Mayweather -600 odds are against McGregor. Build that ticket soon.
