| Jourdan Blue | +200 |
| Jessica Sanchez | +450 |
| LightWire | +800 |

| Mama Duke | +1400 |
| Micah Palace | +3300 |

Chris Turner has emerged as the -175 favorite to win season 20 of America’s Got Talent. The comedic rapper has been a fan favorite throughout the season, and he has consistently engaged the audience in his performances.
After his finale performance, Simon Cowell called Turner the one to beat this season. Turner’s odds imply a 63.64% win probability.
Jourdan Blue, the previous favorite, is still listed at +200. Blue’s odds did not move, but the contestants behind him have started to fade. Fellow singer Jessica Sanchez has the third-best odds at +450.
LightWire and Steve Ray Ladson round out the top five at 8-1 and 9-1, respectively. The Leo High School Choir (+1000) and Mama Duke (+1400) just missed the top five. Micah Palace, Team Recycled, and Sirca Marea are all tied for the eighth-best odds at +3300 each.

America’s Got Talent Season 20 Latest Events and Updated Betting Pick
Let’s take a brief look at this season’s favorites, according to the America’s Got Talent betting odds.
Each of the 10 finalists had one last performance to prove to fans they deserve to win AGT season 20. The results will be revealed live tonight.
Chris Turner, the current betting favorite, took eight suggestions from the judges and the audience. He combined those suggestions into a freestyle rap. To up the ante for the finale, the track Turner used sped up throughout the performance, starting at 80 BPM and ending at 150.
Jessica Sanchez is actually insane for this considering the fact that when you’re pregnant, the baby pushes the diaphragm upwards reducing lung capacity and breath support. Not to mention the hormonal changes that could affect your voice 😭 #AGT pic.twitter.com/xsobeZjlGR

Six of the other seven finalists also performed musical acts, including:
- Jourdan Blue – “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters
- Micah Palace – “Spanglish” and “No Sobo” original songs
- Steve Ray Ladson – “Do The Rodeo” original song
- Leo High School Choir – “Hall of Fame” by The Script
- Mama Duke – “Open Your Eyes” original song
- Jessica Sanchez – “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars
Team Recycled, Sirca Marea, and LightWire also put on jaw-dropping performances in attempts to win the grand prize.
The fans and judges voted for seven of the 10 finalist spots to go to musical acts, and I think a singer will win this season. Jourdan Blue was my pick, but, as Simon Cowell pointed out in the Semi-finals, he has played it safe in his recent performances.
Jessica Sanchez, on the other hand, stole the show during the final performances. She is also nine months pregnant and will likely get the sympathy votes from any undecided fans. Sanchez reached the Semis in season 1, and I think she will win it all this time around.
America’s Got Talent 2025 Contestants
Over a hundred acts auditioned, and 44 made it to the live shows. After the Quarter and Semi-final rounds, only 10 remain as we head into the season 20 finale of America’s Got Talent.
The final performances air live on Tuesday, September 23rd. Then, the winner of this season will be announced on Wednesday, September 24th.
Here are the 10 performers still fighting for this year’s grand prize.
| ACT/PERFORMER | FROM |
|---|---|
| Jourdan Blue | New Orleans, Louisiana |
| Mama Duke | Austin, Texas |
| Steve Ray Ladson | Hopkins, South Carolina |
| Leo High School Choir | Chicago, Illinois |
| Jessica Sanchez | Chula Vista, California |
| Chris Turner | Manchester, England |
| Sirca Marea | Argentina and Chile |
| Micah Palace | Connecticut |
| LightWire | Sao Paulo, Brazil |
| Team Recycled | Berlin, Germany |
Seven of the 10 finalists received a Golden Buzzer at some point this season. The only acts to make the Finals without a Golden Buzzer are Sirca Marea, Leo High School Choir, and Chris Turner.
On the flip side, multiple Golden Buzzer recipients failed to make the Finale. These performers include Charity Lockhart, Birmingham Youth Fellowship Choir, Duo Stardust, Messoudi Brothers, The BoykinZ, The Funkateer Dancers, and Unreal Crew.
Having a versatile act is the key to going far, but as is often the case, singers have dominated this season. Eleven of the previous 19 winners have been singers, and with seven singing acts in the finale, a singer is likely to win this season.
