In 17 of his 19 starts, he’s limited opponents to three or fewer earned runs, showing remarkable consistency. Moreover, he’s pitched under a 4.00 ERA in five straight outings, giving the Lions a boost in today’s matchup.
Opposite him, the KIA Tigers send Yang Heong‑jong to start. His 4.46 ERA and 1.41 WHIP across 21 appearances paint a picture of a pitcher who’s been hittable. Add in the fact that it’s a road matchup for Yang, and his struggles could be amplified.

The total is juiced up at 10 runs between the LG Twins and KT Wiz, but that line feels overcooked. I’m backing the under here with strong pitching duels poised to quiet the scoreboard.
Let’s start with the Twins’ Im Chan‑kyu, who boasts a 2.82 ERA and a 9‑3 record on the season. He’s been especially lethal against the Wiz, holding them to a 2.53 ERA across two outings. That kind of familiarity breeds success and suggests he’ll keep the runs at bay again today.
On the other side, KT’s Bae Je‑seong has a 4.76 ERA and 1.68 WHIP over seven appearances, which is not flashy, but plenty of context lies beneath. He’s yielded two or fewer earned runs in five starts.
One rough outing, in which he gave up five earned runs, has unfairly inflated his stats. Strip that away, and you’ve got a pitcher capable of keeping this game close.
With both starters trending under control, the under at 10 runs holds real appeal today.
