Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 16
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. Doosan Bears: Doosan Bears Moneyline (-125)
The Doosan Bears offer strong value on the moneyline at −125 as they face off against the league-worst Kiwoom Heroes. While Doosan hasn’t exactly lit up the standings with their 56-70-6 record, the Heroes have been outright brutal, sitting dead last with a dismal 44-86-74 mark.
Kiwoom’s struggles are deep on both sides of the ball. They own the worst batting average in the KBO at .245 and are getting shelled with a team ERA of 5.52. That’s a tough combination to back, especially against a team like Doosan that at least has a few reliable arms.

One of those is Gwak Been, who brings a 4.48 ERA overall, but has carved up Kiwoom this year with a 2.35 mark in head-to-head outings. Even though Raul Alcantara counters with a respectable 3.35 ERA, the run support just isn’t there. This is Doosan’s game to lose, so back the Bears for your KBO best bets.
Lotte Giants vs. Samsung Lions: Samsung -1.5 (+102)
The Samsung Lions bring sneaky value on the runline Tuesday, priced at +102 to take care of business against the Lotte Giants. This is a sharp spot to back the Lions by multiple runs with Gerson Garabito set to take the hill.

Garabito has been locked in, posting a 2.44 ERA and 1.09 WHIP across 66.1 innings. He’s allowed one or fewer earned runs in three of his last five starts and already blanked the Giants once this season, holding a perfect 0.00 ERA against them. That level of command gives Samsung a clear edge.
Park Jin counters for Lotte with a 4.37 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in just under 60 innings. He’s been serviceable, but doesn’t profile as someone who can keep up with Garabito’s form.
With the better starter and plus odds in hand, the Lions are worth the runline swing.
