Debí Tirar Más Fotos had a banner year and has already received several accolades. Released on January 5, 2025, Debí Tirar Más Fotos has won Billboard Latin Music Award for Top Latin Album of the Year, Latin Rhythm Album of the Year, Premio Juventud for Best Urban Album, and American Music Award for Favorite Album.
Bad Bunny is having an impressive year, and his success on Debí Tirar Más Fotos is just another accomplishment for the growing resume. While this isn’t his highest-ranking album ever, it reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

However, Debí Tirar Más Fotos debuted No. 1 on the Top Latin Album Chart. He is a fair distance ahead of the competition in this category for the Latin Grammy Album of the Year. Natalia Lafourcade’s Cancionera provides a limited threat to Bad Bunny.

Legado by Argentine rock band A.N.I.M.A.L is in the driver’s seat to win the Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album. This is only the third nomination for A.N.I.M.A.L at the Latin Grammy Awards.
In 2023, they had a nomination for Best Rock Album. That was the same case four years earlier at the 20th Latin Grammy Awards. However, they haven’t managed to break through and hear their name called for a win.
Legado is their first studio album since 2018 and perhaps one of their best. They could have very well won in the past, but the competition and names in the category were impressive. I don’t see that problem for Legado this year.

There isn’t a strong album that counters A.N.I.M.A.L in 2025. Marilina Bertoldi’s Luna En Obras stands a decent chance to spring the upset, but aside from that, A.N.I.M.A.L should capture its long-awaited Latin Grammy Award.
