There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
LG Twins vs. Kiwoom Heroes: LG -1.5 (-185)
After a surprising loss by the Kiwoom Heroes shook the status quo, expect the LG Twins to bounce back in style Saturday. The spotlight falls on William Tolhurst, as he has been downright dominant.
A perfect 3‑0 with a microscopic 0.50 ERA over three starts, he’s surrendered just one earned run across 18 innings to kick off his KBO career. That’s especially impressive considering he didn’t even crack past Triple‑A this season in the Toronto Blue Jays’ system.
On the flip side, the Heroes are turning to Park Jeong‑hun, who sports a 4.50 ERA and 1.60 WHIP through his 10 relief appearances, but this marks his first crack as a starter. At just 19 years old, it’s a tall order facing a lineup as polished as the Twins.

Tolhurst’s razor‑sharp form, combined with his experience edge, gives me full confidence that the Twins not only win, but cover the runline with ease.
Samsung Lions vs. Hanwha Eagles: Under 7.5 (-114)
The under looks like the sharpest angle in Saturday’s clash between the Samsung Lions and Hanwha Eagles, with two in-form arms taking the hill.
Ariel Jurado gets the nod for Samsung, and he’s been especially effective when facing Hanwha this season, posting a 2.68 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in head-to-head matchups. Jurado has held opponents to two or fewer earned runs in five of his last seven starts and profiles well against a lineup that’s been hit-or-miss.

On the other side, Ryan Weiss continues to solidify his spot as one of the KBO’s top starters. The right-hander enters with a stellar 2.95 ERA and 1.04 WHIP, allowing very few base runners and rarely getting into trouble. He’s surrendered two or fewer earned runs in five of his last six outings.
With both pitchers in top form and neither offense peaking, this game shapes up as a low-scoring affair that favors the under.
