Cameron Boozer’s point prop is drawing serious attention for good reason heading into Duke’s New Year’s Day clash with Georgia Tech. Sitting at 23.5 points with a -115 price tag, the over looks like a sharp play given how well Boozer’s been producing and the matchup advantages down low.

Georgia Tech simply doesn’t have the interior presence to contain Duke’s frontcourt, and Boozer is poised to exploit that weakness. He’s averaging 23.3 points per game on a crisp 56.7% shooting clip, and his recent form has been rock solid.

Boozer has cleared or come within a single bucket of this number in five of Duke’s last six games. He’s also posted 26 or more points in four of those outings, showing he’s more than capable of running it up when the matchup leans in his favor.

Against an overmatched Yellow Jackets’ defense, Boozer over 23.5 points profiles as one of the most appealing prop bets on the board.

Total Points: Patrick Ngongba (DUKE) Over 10.5 (-125)

While Cameron Boozer gets much of the spotlight, Patrick Ngongba is quietly positioned to take advantage of a favorable matchup against Georgia Tech. With his points prop set at 10.5 and priced at -130, the over carries solid value given both his efficiency and the defensive vulnerabilities he’ll face on New Year’s Day.

Ngongba has quietly become a reliable interior scoring option, converting 64.9 percent of his shots while averaging 11.1 points per game. He’s scored at least 11 points in five of Duke’s last eight outings and has failed to reach double figures only twice since mid-November.

Georgia Tech, which ranks 76th nationally while allowing 70.3 points per game, lacks the size to consistently contest shots in the paint. With the Yellow Jackets stretched thin defensively inside, Ngongba should find plenty of opportunities playing alongside Boozer.

Over 10.5 points for Ngongba is a sharp prop to circle for this ACC matchup.
