English Premier League Predictions Today: EPL Best Bets for Gameweek 11

Some of our regular readers might accuse me of repeating myself, but I really can’t help it. As long as the bookies keep giving me almost even odds on Arsenal to win to nil, I will keep backing the Gunners!

This is a historically good team from a defensive standpoint, only conceding three goals in 10 EPL games so far. If you include all competitions, Arsenal have won eight in a row without allowing goals. They didn’t even concede shots on targets in three or four of them.

While this run is bound to end eventually, I’m not sure Sunderland is the team that will score against Arsenal. I love how the newly-promoted side is doing, and they certainly play with plenty of passion at home.

That said, Sunderland have only scored 12 goals in 10 Premier Leagues games. If you look at the xG numbers, the team is 14th in the league, with only 11.21.

Overall, I expect another clean sheet for the Gunners and a win, so -104 for that outcome is one of the EPL best bets this weekend.

The main reason behind this pick is Fulham’s atrocious form away from home. The team drew the first away match of the EPL season against Brighton, and then suffered four defeats in a row. If you add the draw against Wycombe in the League Cup, it’s easy too see that Fulham are not doing in away games.

They will travel to Liverpool to meet Everton this week, which is another potential defeat. David Moyes has developed a resilient and hard-working team is hard to beat. They lack a bit of quality up front at times, but the likes of Jack Grealish, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and Iliman Ndiaye bring enough danger.

I expect mostly a tight game, decided by a moment of magic on one of Everton’s midfielders. The odds of +122 are just high enough to back the home side here.

Newcastle is another team I simply don’t trust away from home. The Magpies are 13th in the league, mostly because they can’t win outside of Newcastle.

In their latest away game, the team was soundly beaten by the struggling West Ham. This has been the case more often than not, with the only away victory of the season coming in Belgium, against Union Saint-Gilloise.

That doesn’t bode well for Newcastle, as their next opponents have won most of their point at home. Brentford beat the likes of Liverpool, Man United, and Aston Villa at home. They also drew Chelsea and barely lost against Man City.

The Brentford Community Stadium is like a fortress nowadays, so getting +185 for the home side is one of the top EPL picks this weekend.
