The Mercury (9-4) have won three straight games after an 83-75 win over Connecticut on Wednesday night. Alyssa Thomas had a big night against her former team, putting up 14 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds.

Satou Sabally also added 12 points and 15 boards for the Mercury, who are a tough defensive team. They rank fourth in defensive rating, and they’re not going to overwhelm you offensively.

But I like this spot for the Liberty at -11, with odds of -110, at BetUS! The Liberty can swarm the Mercury defensively, and they can take advantage of Phoenix playing on Tuesday night, then traveling to New York.

This will be a battle of styles as New York is first in the league in pace, while Phoenix is eighth. The Liberty need to push the pace of the game, and if they’re successful, Phoenix won’t be able to keep up.
