Atlanta Dream (+115) vs. Seattle Storm BetUS

Atlanta Dream (+115) vs. Seattle Storm

The Dream (11-6) snapped a two-game skid with a 90-81 win over New York at home on Sunday, June 29. Brionna Jones led five Atlanta players in double figures with 21 points, while Allisha Gray had a great all-around game with 20 points, nine boards, and six assists.

Gray was recently named an All-Star starter, and it’s her third straight nod for the All-Star game!

The Dream shot 52.9% from the field, although they were just 4-of-19 from three-point land, and 12-of-22 from the free-throw line. Their defense shone on the night. The Dream held Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu to a combined 35 points on 12-of-33 shooting.

The Storm (10-7) were hammered 84-57 at Golden State on June 29, and the 27-point margin was their worst loss of the season.

Skylar Diggins had 18 points, and Erica Wheeler added 13 for the Storm, who shot 27% from the field. Nneka Ogwumike and Gabby Williams had terrible nights, combining to go 4-of-21 for ten points.

Ogwumike will also be an All-Star starter (her tenth All-Star appearance), while Williams has a loud shout for a reserve spot. However, it was a night to forget at Golden State for the duo.

The Storm are still 2-point favorites on the road at Atlanta, where the Dream are 7-2 straight up (SU) and 5-4 against the spread (ATS). Seattle is 4-4 SU away from home, but a solid 5-2 ATS. Iโ€™m expecting a much better effort from the Storm than they gave against the Valkyries.

Still, Iโ€™m going to take the Dream at +115 as a home underdog at BetUS! The Dream won 94-87 in Seattle on May 30, and they have the edge in both defensive and offensive rating overall this season. I like this spot for Atlanta as a home underdog, so take the Dream to the bank on Thursday night!
