The 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup odds are led by the only three countries to ever win the competition: the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Can anyone outside of the top three win their first Gold Cup?
I’ll examine the teams and prices for the tournament, and give you my CONCACAF Gold Cup prediction and betting pick at the end of this article!

Soccer betting sites are favoring the United States (+175) to win the CONCACAF Gold Cup! The Americans have an implied win probability of 36.4%, but it has been a tumultuous run-up to the tournament for Mauricio Pochettino’s men
The defending champions from Mexico (+225) are right behind the Americans with an implied win probability of 30.8%. Mexico will kick off the event against the Dominican Republic on Saturday, June 14, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
This tournament has been held 17 times previously. Mexico have won nine times, with the United States winning seven times. The only team outside of those two to win the CONCACAF Gold Cup is Canada (+500), who have a 16.7% implied chance to win. Saudi Arabia (+800), guests of the tournament, sit at 11.1%.
Panama (+1400), Jamaica (+1600), and Costa Rica (+2000) are longshots, according to the 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup odds. However, further down the board, there isn’t much to consider. It would be a massive upset if anyone further down than Costa Rica comes out on top!

CONCACAF Gold Cup Favorites
Let’s take a look at the top three favorites in the CONCACAF Gold Cup odds!
United States (+175) – Can the Americans Win Despite Key Absences?
The United States team hasn’t had a smooth preparation for the tournament. Landon Donovan made news for criticizing some players who have skipped the tournament, such as Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah, and Antonee Robinson.
Then, on June 7 and 10, the United States lost 2-1 to Turkey, and 4-0 to Switzerland, in a pair of friendly matches.

They’re going to miss Pulisic, who has scored 32 goals in 78 appearances for his country. Musah and Robinson both had great seasons for their clubs. Someone has to step up at forward, where there isn’t much experience or goals. Johnny Cardoso is being tipped as the player to watch for the United States after a terrific season at Real Betis.
But at the back, the Americans will struggle. Tim Ream captains the side, but he’s 37. Matt Turner used to play for Arsenal, but he featured just four times this season for Crystal Palace. Pochettino has his work cut for him as it might be a fight for the Americans just to get out of their group! I don’t rate their 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup winner odds at all.
Mexico (+225) – Will Mexico Defend Their Title?
Mexico played the same teams the Americans met in friendlies, losing 4-2 to the Swiss before beating Turkey 1-0. They couldn’t get out of the group stage at the 2024 Copa América because they scored just one goal. But Raul Jimenez didn’t play in that tournament, and he’s coming off a 14-goal season at Fulham.

Santiago Giménez will likely join Jimenez up front, while Edson Alvarez will be all over the midfield for Mexico. At the back, Jesus Gallardo will rampage up and down the left wing. It appears that “El Tri” will go with Luis Malagon in goal, but Guillermo Ochoa, with 151 caps, will be on the bench at 39 years old.
If Jimenez and Giménez have their shooting boots on, the Mexicans could absolutely win this tournament. I think they should be the favorites in the CONCACAF Gold Cup odds over the United States, quite frankly.
Canada (+500) – No Davies, No Problem for Canada?
The Canadians will be without star man Alphonso Davies, who tore his ACL playing for Canada in March. But Canada still has enough to make some noise at the CONCACAF, which they won in 2000. At the 2024 Copa América, Canada lost to eventual (and World Cup) winners Argentina in the semifinals.

Jonathan David is one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe, and after leaving Lille, he’ll want to use this tournament as a springboard to a big club.
Promise David (no relation to Jonathan) is 23 years old, but he scored 24 goals in the Belgian league and could be on his way to a major move as well. Stephen Eustaquio, Ismael Kone, and Jonathan Osorio are a well-rounded midfield. Tajon Buchanan looks back to his best after recovering from a broken tibia.
Canada’s defense is the pain point for the side. Center back Moise Bombito won’t play because of a broken wrist, and head coach Jesse Marsch has depended on him since taking over the team. Dayne St. Clair should take over for Maxine Crepeau in goal, but he has just 11 appearances for Canada. He’ll be in the spotlight.
I really like Canada going forward, but I’ve got some concerns about their defending. If they can shore up at that end of the pitch, their 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup odds present a nice return for you!
2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup Longshots
Let’s examine a couple of dark horses that offer a decent return, but they’ll need the top three to struggle to win the title.
Saudi Arabia (+800) – Can Anyone Score for Saudi Arabia?
I’ll put Saudi Arabia with the longshots, even at +800, which, I think, is far too low. They have qualified for the last two World Cups, and will head to the fourth round of AFC qualifying to try to make it three in a row.

— Saudi National Team (@SaudiNT_EN) June 10, 2025
Most of their squad plays in Saudi Arabia, except for defender Saud Abdulhamid, who played four games for Roma this season. They’ll be counting on Firas Al-Buraikan and Saleh Al-Shehri to score for them. However, the latter didn’t feature in World Cup qualifying as Al-Shehri recovers from a hamstring injury.
Their best chance might come in goal from Nawaf Al-Aqidi, who might need the tournament of his career to push Saudi Arabia to the next round. Head coach Herve Renard will have some decisions to make for his team, but I think their 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup odds are overpriced.
Jamaica (+1600) – Will the “Reggae Boyz” Be Dancing in Victory?
Jamaica actually went to the semifinals of the 2023 Gold Cup, losing to Mexico. They also went out in the semifinals of the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League, losing to the Americans in extra time. “The Reggae Boyz” haven’t lost in eight matches in 2025, and even tied Nigeria 2-2 at the Unity Cup in England in May.
Preparation meet execution. The Boyz dem ready fi show out🫡🇯🇲

Steve McLaren managed in England for 19 years at Middlesbrough, Newcastle, and Nottingham Forest. He also took over the English national team from August 2006 to November 2007.
But McLaren might be in his most impressive job since taking over Jamaica in August 2024. Leon Bailey is back in the team after some off-field issues with the Jamaican federation, and he’ll be counted on heavily at the Gold Cup. No one on the team has scored more for Jamaica than Demarai Gray’s seven goals.
Andre Blake will be between the sticks for Jamaica, but outside of defender Mason Holgate, it’s a mystery who will be in front of him. I do think Jamaica will make it out of Group C, and potentially even win it if they can beat Panama. But I wouldn’t dig too much into their CONCACAF Gold Cup winner odds.
2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup Prediction and Betting Pick
The United States team is a mess right now, and I think their high-profile absences will be an issue. Some players are skipping the tournament, while some are playing at the FIFA Club World Cup. They’re going to have a lot of work to do to make it late into the tournament.
Canada is my 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup prediction to win it all! Jonathan and Promise David should be able to get some goals, and they have a lot of guile in midfield. I have concerns about their defense, but you can say that about most, if not all, of the teams in the tournament.
Mexico would also be a solid wager, but at +500, I’m taking the bigger return and going with Canada to win the CONCACAF Gold Cup!
