The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 top goalscorer odds show three clear favorites: Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, and Erling Haaland. Can one of them score the most goals in the tournament, or will another player surprise us?
I explore the most likely winners in this article, alongside the betting odds, before sharing my Club World Cup top scorer prediction and betting pick.
Club World Cup 2025 Top Goalscorer Betting Odds
The following odds are courtesy of Bovada:
Player | Top Scorer Betting Odds |
---|---|
Kylian Mbappe (Real Madrid) | +500 |
Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) | +550 |
Erling Haaland (Man City) | +600 |
Ousmane Dembele (PSG) | +1000 |
Serhou Guirassy (Dortmund) | +1200 |
Alexander Sorloth (Atletico Madrid) | +1600 |
Vinicius Jr (Real Madrid) | +1600 |
Bradley Barcola (PSG) | +2000 |
Julian Alvarez (Atletico Madrid) | +2000 |
Lautaro Martinez (Inter) | +2000 |
Lionel Messi (Inter Miami) | +2000 |
Omar Marmoush (Man City) | +2000 |
The list of likely CWC top scorers features almost exclusively forwards from top European teams, with Lionel Messi the only exception. That’s hardly a surprise, since the Club World Cup winner odds are dominated by European teams.
Kylian Mbappe (+500), Harry Kane (+550), and Erling Haaland (+600) are the favorites, but even the prices on them are relatively high.
Also, it’s worth noting that Bovada has a ton of other players available, so visit the site to check out the full list of top scorer odds. You will find them by going to Sports > Soccer > FIFA Club World Cup > Futures > Top Goalscorer.
Club World Cup Top Goalscorer Favorites
The following three players are the most likely to score the most goals, according to the best Club World Cup betting sites.
Kylian Mbappe (+500)
- Team: Real Madrid
- Goals in 2024-25: 43
Kylian Mbappe’s first season with Real Madrid has been rather disappointing, but his individual numbers are still very strong. The forward scored 43 goals in 56 games in all tournaments, including 31 in 34 games in the Spanish La Liga.
That was enough to win the UEFA Golden Boot for the 2024-25 season, so Mbappe definitely can score the most goals in the Club World Cup.

He should be able to rack up some goals in the group stage, where Real Madrid face Al Hilal, Pachuca, and FC Salzburg. The Spanish side is head and shoulders above the competition, so it should be smooth sailing.
Real is poised for a deep run, so Mbappe should also have multiple games in the eliminations as well. My biggest concern is that he might be rested for some of the games in the group stage, exactly because Real Madrid are so much better than anyone else.
Harry Kane (+550)
- Team: Bayern Munich
- Goals in 2024-25: 38
Harry Kane has been one of the most reliable goalscorers in the world for more than a decade. He won multiple Premier League top scorer with Tottenham, and then moved to Germany to torment the defenders in the Bundesliga.
A quick look at the top scorer chart from the 2024-25 season shows Kane at the top, even if the 26 goals scored in 31 games were a step down from the 36 scored in 32 matches last year.
That’s hardly a cause of concern, since Kane is still one of the most reliable strikers in the world. His Bayern will face Auckland City and Boca Juniors in the first two games of the group stage, so the England captain could be way up after only two rounds.
He is usually ruthless against inferior opposition and can also score in the knockouts, so Kane is a very strong contender for the Club World Cup top scorer crown.
And yet, the odds are fairly short compared to other players and the third opponent in the group is Benfica, a very solid side that might cause Bayern trouble.
Erling Haaland (+600)
- Team: Manchester City
- Goals in 2024-25: 31
Manchester City had their second-worst season under Pep Guardiola in 2024-25, and Erling Haaland missed a lot of games because of injuries. Most players would have a very modest record under similar circumstances, but not the Norwegian.
He still delivered 31 goals in 44 games in all competitions, proving once again that he’s a machine in front of goal.
And yet, I don’t think backing him is smart for three reasons. The first one is that Pep Guardiola rotates a lot, so Haaland might miss a game or two in the group stage.
Furthermore, he will be sharing the goals with Omar Marmoush, which could hurt both players’ chances of becoming the top scorer of the tournament.
Finally, I don’t trust Manchester City right now, and I won’t be shocked if they are eliminated in the first or second round of the knockouts.
Don’t get me wrong, Haaland is still a threat, but there are better options out there.
CWC Top Scorer Best Sleeper: Serhou Guirassy (+1200)
I really struggle to see how Serhou Guirassy’s odds are so high. The Dortmund striker found the net 13 times in the Champions League, joint-best with Raphina, and added 21 goals in 30 games in the Bundesliga.
His numbers are fantastic, and Borussia Dortmund’s opponents in the group stage will allow him plenty of opportunities to score. The Germans will play Fluminense, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Ulsan HD.
Considering Dortmund’s attacking style and the level of the competition, I can see Guirassy scoring like 4 or 5 goals in the group stage alone.
On top of that, Dortmund should easily make the knockouts, where he will have more opportunities to find the net. Guirassy’s record in the Champions League proves he can punish even the best defenses in the world, so getting +1200 for him is amazing value.
Club World Cup Top Scorer Prediction and Betting Pick
I completely understand why Mbappe, Kane, and Haaland are leading the top goalscorer odds for the Club World Cup, but Guirassy should be up there with them.
Instead, the Dortmund striker is available at +1200, despite facing the weakest opponents in the group stage. The value is too high to turn down, so that’s my Club World Cup top scorer prediction and betting pick.
