Survivor Season 48 Odds and Prediction (Updated After Each Episode)
We will be adding the updated odds, analysis, and prediction after each episode here, so you will continue to have fresh information as the season progresses!
Here are the 2025 Survivor odds, courtesy of BetOnline, after the 11th episode:
CASTAWAY | ODDS |
---|---|
Joe Hunter | -200 |
Kyle Fraser | +250 |
Shauhin Davari | +300 |
Kamilla Karthigesu | +600 |
Eva Erickson | +750 |
Mitch Guerra | +1000 |
As Survivor Season 48 heads to the final bend, 45-year-old fire captain Joe Hunter (-200) is the odds-on favorite to win. At -200 odds, Joe has a 66.7% implied probability to be the sole survivor this season! This is the highest chance that Joe has had to win, according to entertainment betting sites.
Last week, Joe had +140 odds to win Survivor 48, so he’s seeing money come in on him recently. Joe’s pre-season price, at +1000, suggested he was a longshot heading to Fiji. That afforded him just a 9.1% implied probability of winning, but he’s flown up the board after winning challenge after challenge.
Aside from Joe, Kyle Fraser (+250) has the second-best Survivor odds to win Season 48. He holds a 28.6% implied probability, the odds then drop off to Shauhin Davari (+300) at 25% to complete the top 3.
Bookmakers are not convinced that any of the other castaways have a realistic chance of winning! Mitch Guerra (+1000), who was the pre-season favorite, has fallen well out of favor since then.

Survivor 48 Predictions and Betting Pick After Episode 11
Joe has been my Survivor winner pick since the start of Season 48, so things are progressing well! Or, at least, the betting markets indicate he has the best opportunity to head to the winner’s circle.
While he may not have the strongest social game on the show, it doesn’t matter, with how dominant he’s been in challenges. He’s a machine in every competition, so he was not a candidate to go home early in the game. Along with regularly winning immunity, his tribe didn’t want their MVP out of the game anyway.
Joe was vulnerable to a blindside from his allies this past week in Episode 11. Kamilla Karthigesu won her first immunity of the season, with Joe essentially giving her the victory. This opened the door for Joe’s opponents to give the immunity beast the boot.
However, he managed to convince the island that Mary Zheng had to go home. If I were playing the game, that would have been the window to get Joe out of the game. Nevertheless, the players are going to have to deal with Joe’s unstoppable force in immunity challenges for at least another week.
I thought that Mary overstayed her welcome by two or three weeks too long, so her departure wasn’t the biggest surprise, though. With getting past this week, I don’t see anyone being motivated to vote him out in the coming weeks, either.
Joe has garnered a ton of respect from his competitors and should have the votes from the jury as well. As was the case in the pre-season, my Survivor pick to win remains Joe. I’ve bet on him multiple times throughout the season at +1000, +650, +250, and +140 at Survivor betting sites. This is the shortest price that has been on the board, but I have to stay committed to the best player of Season 48!
Survivor 48 Tribes and Contestants
Survivor 48 consists of the Civa, Lagi, and Vula Tribe. Now, let’s learn more about the three tribes and castaways on each side.
But, first, when does Survivor start? On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, Survivor 48 debuts at 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+.
Lagi Tribe
Lagi features a few contenders that could win the game in Fiji. According to the latest 2025 Survivor betting odds at BetUS, Star Toomey, Thomas Krottinger, and Hunter should be in the mix.
Lagi Tribe Members:
- Bianca Roses, 33, strategic PR consultant (Arlington, VA)
- Eva Erickson, 24, engineering grad student (Providence, RI)
- Joe Hunter, 45, fire captain (Sacramento, CA)
- Shauhin Davari, 38, debate professor (Costa Mesa, CA)
- Star Toomey, 28, sales (Augusta, GA)
- Thomas Krottinger, 34, music producer (Los Angeles, CA)
Civa Tribe
Guerra is on Civa, so they have the pre-game betting favorite to win Survivor 48! Whether this results in winning the game remains to be seen, but Guerra should be a weapon for the Civa Tribe. Kimma Karthigesu is also worth watching out for this season.
Civa Tribe Members:
- Charity Nelms, 34, flight attendant (St. Petersburg, FL)
- Chrissy Sarnowsky, 55, firefighter (Chicago, IL)
- David Kinne, 39, stunt artist (Buena Park, CA)
- Kamilla Karthigesu, 31, discord engineer (San Francisco, CA)
- Kyle Fraser, 31, attorney (Brooklyn, NY)
- Mitch Guerra, 34, teacher (Waco, TX)
Vula Tribe
Berger is expected to be the powerhouse of the Vula Tribe. With the second-shortest odds to win Survivor 48, the betting markets are expecting positives from her. Additionally, Saiounia Hughley, Kevin Leung, and Mary Zheng are among the favorites, so this should be a formidable tribe.
Vula Tribe Members:
- Cedrek McFadden, 45, surgeon (Greenville, SC)
- Justin Pioppi, 29, restaurant manager (Winthrop, MA)
- Kevin Leung, 34, finance manager (Livermore, CA)
- Mary Zheng, 31, substance abuse counselor (Philadelphia, PA)
- Saiounia Hughley, 30, marketing specialist (Simi Valley, CA)
- Stephanie Berger, 38, tech product specialist (Brooklyn, NY)
