The biggest favorites of the weekend are Baltimore and Seattle, both sitting at -13.5 points against the Jets and the Titans, respectively. New England (-8) and Detroit (10.5) are also heavy favorites this week.
In a major SNF matchup between division leaders, the Buccaneers are getting 6.5 points against the Rams in LA. Then, on Monday, the 49ers are 6.5-point favorites at home against the visiting Panthers. Carolina is just a half-game behind Tampa Bay for first place in the NFC South.
The four teams on a bye in Week 12 are the Denver Broncos (9-2), Los Angeles Chargers (7-4), Miami Dolphins (4-7), and Washington Commanders (3-8).

Buffalo Bills vs. Houston Texans Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buffalo Bills | -5.5 (-110) | -260 | Over 43.5 (-110) |
| Houston Texans | +5.5 (-110) | +215 | Under 43.5 (-110) |
Buffalo got a much-needed win last week, knocking off the visiting Buccaneers 44-32. Josh Allen became the first player in NFL history to have multiple games with three passing TDs and three rushing TDs.
Allen and company are 5.5-point favorites on Thursday Night Football this week against Houston. The Texans have the best scoring defense in the league, giving up just 16.3 PPG. However, Houston’s offense is one of the least productive units in the NFL.
To make matters worse, C.J. Stroud is set to miss a third straight game with a concussion. The good news for the Texans is that the Bills have the second-worst run defense in the NFL.
With Stroud out again, the Texans will need to lean even more into their rushing attack. The Bills’ defense will be tired on a short week, and Houston should be able to cover the 5.5 points at home this Thursday.
Bills vs. Texans NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Houston Texans +5.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Buffalo Bills (-260)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 43.5 (-110)
New York Jets vs. Baltimore Ravens Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| New York Jets | +13.5 (-115) | +650 | Over 44.5 (-105) |
| Baltimore Ravens | -13.5 (-105) | -1100 | Under 44.5 (-115) |
A tough 27-14 loss on TNF last week may have ended the Justin Fields era in New York. The Jets announced they will be starting Tyrod Taylor this week against the Ravens.
Despite making a QB change, the Jets are 13.5-point underdogs on the road against the Ravens this weekend.
Baltimore trailed for most of the matchup against the Browns last week, but Lamar Jackson and company were able to escape Cleveland with a vital 23-16 win. It was the Ravens’ fourth straight win and got Baltimore back to .500 after a 1-5 start.
They won the game, but the Ravens were far from perfect on offense last week. Jackson had under 200 yards passing and threw two picks.
A QB change can provide a spark, and Taylor is a better passer than Fields. Putting Taylor in the lineup, combined with the Ravens’ recent offensive struggles, should open the door for the Jets to cover +13.5 on the road in Baltimore.
Jets vs. Ravens NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: New York Jets +13.5 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Baltimore Ravens (-1100)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 44.5 (-115)
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Chicago Bears Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pittsburgh Steelers | +3 (-120) | +135 | Over 45.5 (-110) |
| Chicago Bears | -3 (+100) | -160 | Under 45.5 (-110) |
Speaking of the AFC North title race, Pittsburgh earned an important win over the Bengals last week to improve to 6-4 and stay in first place in the division. It was a costly win, though, as Aaron Rodgers fractured his left wrist.
Rodgers will not need surgery, but he is questionable this week for a tough road matchup against the Bears. He owned the Bears when he played for the Packers, but an injured Rodgers could be in trouble on Sunday.
Chicago (7-3) has won seven of the last eight games and is currently in first place in the NFC North. The Bears are 3-point favorites for this game. Pittsburgh is a +135 moneyline underdog.
Losing Rodgers would be significant, as it would force Mason Rudolph into the starting role. Pittsburgh’s defense is also a concern. The Steelers have allowed the fifth-most YPG (368.1) this season and have given up 25+ points in three of their four road games this season.
Questions at QB and a shaky defense will be too much for the Steelers to overcome. The Bears should win and cover as home favorites.
Steelers vs. Bears NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Chicago Bears -3 (+100)
- Moneyline Bet: Chicago Bears (-160)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 45.5 (-110)
New England Patriots vs. Cincinnati Bengals Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| New England Patriots | -8 (-110) | -400 | Over 49.5 (-115) |
| Cincinnati Bengals | +8 (-110) | +300 | Under 49.5 (-105) |
Cincinnati dropped a third straight game on Sunday, falling to 3-7 on the season. Adding to the Bengals’ misery is Ja’Marr Chase’s suspension. The star receiver was suspended for this week’s game after spitting on Jalen Ramsey in last week’s loss.
The Chase-less Bengals are 8-point underdogs at home this week against the Patriots. New England is 9-2 and has won eight straight games. Their most recent win was on TNF last week, giving the Pats extra time to prepare for this contest.
Cincy only scored 12 points in last week’s loss, their lowest since Joe Flacco took over at quarterback. It ended the Bengals’ streak of three consecutive games of 33+ points scored.
Without Chase, the Pats can hone in on stopping Tee Higgins. On the other side of the ball, the Bengals’ defense will not be able to stop Drake Maye and company. Maye should add to his MVP resume this week with a big win over a porous Bengals’ defense.
Patriots vs. Bengals NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: New England Patriots -8 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: New England Patriots (-400)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 49.5 (-110)
New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| New York Giants | +10.5 (-110) | +450 | Over 49.5 (-115) |
| Detroit Lions | -10.5 (-110) | -650 | Under 49.5 (-105) |
New York fell just short of upsetting the Packers, losing 27-20 after back-to-back turnovers on their final offensive drives. The Giants head to Detroit this week to face the 6-4 Lions.
Detroit also lost last week, dropping a road game in Philadelphia 16-9. The Lions’ loss knocked them out of the NFC playoff picture and allowed the Bears to assume control of the NFC North. On the bright side, Detroit is back home this week and in a fantastic position for a bounce-back win.
The Lions are 3-1 at home, while the Giants are 0-6 on the road this season. New York also has a -63 point differential this season, one of the worst in the league. Detroit, for comparison, has a +76 point differential, the third-best in the NFC.
Detroit is favored by 10.5 points, which is a lot for an NFL team to cover. On the other hand, the Lions will be looking to run up the score after laying an egg on offense last week. With that in mind, I think the Lions will win and cover against the Giants.
Giants vs. Lions NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Detroit Lions -10.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Detroit Lions (-650)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 49.5 (-115)
Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minnesota Vikings | +6.5 (-110) | +250 | Over 41 (-105) |
| Green Bay Packers | -6.5 (-110) | -300 | Under 41 (-115) |
The J.J. McCarthy Era is not off to a great start in Minnesota. McCarthy and company were on the losing end of a game-winning field goal last week, dropping the Vikings to 4-6 on the season. Their six losses are double their total from their 14-3 season a year ago.
Minnesota’s season is unlikely to turn around this weekend. The Vikings head to Lambeau Field to take on the Packers. Green Bay are 6.5-point home favorites for this NFC North divisional matchup.
Winning at home is easier said than done this year for the Packers. They are 3-2 at home this season, but they have not won at Lambeau since Week 6. Green Bay also lost the last two home games, scoring just 13 and seven points against the Panthers and Eagles, respectively.
Both offenses have had their fair share of struggles lately. This is a divisional game, though, so I expect the Vikings to keep it close. Green Bay should end the losing streak at home, but Minnesota can cover the 6.5-point spread.
Vikings vs. Packers NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Minnesota Vikings +6.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Green Bay Packers (-300)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 41 (-115)
Indianapolis Colts vs. Kansas City Chiefs Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Indianapolis Colts | +3 (+100) | +155 | Over 49.5 (-115) |
| Kansas City Chiefs | -3 (-120) | -180 | Under 49.5 (-105) |
In a game that could shake up the AFC playoff picture, the Colts take on the Chiefs in Kansas City this week. Indianapolis (8-2) was the top seed in the conference before the bye last week. The Chiefs, conversely, have won the AFC three years in a row, but are out of the playoffs currently at 5-5.
Despite the difference in records, the Chiefs are 3-point favorites at home. The Colts are listed as +155 road underdogs for this matchup.
Indy had a bye last week, giving the Colts time to recover from their trip to Berlin in Week 10. The Colts have ridden Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL with 1,139 rushing yards, to the top of the AFC South. KC has a great run defense, though, allowing the ninth-fewest rushing yards this season.
Chiefs’ defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo will have a plan for stopping Taylor. More importantly, Spags will pressure Daniel Jones, forcing the journeyman into mistakes.
A turnover-heavy day from Jones could derail the Colts this weekend, giving the Chiefs a crucial win at home.
Colts vs. Chiefs NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Kansas City Chiefs -3 (-120)
- Moneyline Bet: Kansas City Chiefs (-180)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 49.5 (-105)
Seattle Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Seattle Seahawks | -13.5 (-110) | -1100 | Over 40.5 (-110) |
| Tennessee Titans | +13.5 (-110) | +650 | Under 40.5 (-110) |
Seattle’s 10-game road winning streak ended last week after Jason Myers missed the go-ahead field goal as time expired. The loss to the Rams was especially costly as it was a divisional game.
Sam Darnold did not help matters, throwing four interceptions against a feisty Rams’ defense. Darnold and the Seahawks could not ask for a better opponent to play against this week as they visit the Titans in Tennessee.
At 1-9, the Titans have the worst record in the NFL. Tennessee also has a -130 point differential, which ranks dead last in the league. The Titans have averaged 14.3 PPG this year, the worst in the league, while Seattle has put up the third-most points at 29.4 PPG.
With all of that in mind, it is not surprising that the Seahawks are 13.5-point favorites in Tennessee this week.
Seattle is looking for a punching bag, and there is no better punching bag in the league this season than the Titans. The Seahawks should win in blowout fashion, covering the massive 13.5-point spread.
Seahawks vs. Titans NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Seattle Seahawks -13.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Seattle Seahawks (-1100)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 40.5 (-110)
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Arizona Cardinals Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jacksonville Jaguars | -3 (+100) | -150 | Over 47.5 (-110) |
| Arizona Cardinals | +3 (-120) | +130 | Under 47.5 (-110) |
Jacksonville blew out the Chargers on Sunday, improving to 6-4 and gaining ground in a tight AFC Wild Card race. The Jaguars are 3-point road favorites this week against the Cardinals in Glendale.
Arizona has been blown out in back-to-back weeks, losing 44-22 and 41-22 to the Seahawks and the 49ers, respectively. One silver lining from their loss to San Fran is that Jacoby Brissett set an NFL record with 47 completions in the same game.
Brissett also racked up over 450 passing yards, despite missing many of his top offensive weapons, including Marvin Harrison Jr.
Jacksonville is 2-2 on the road, and their defense has not played at its best away from Duval County. The Jags have allowed over 29 PPG in their four road games this season. If Brissett can keep the magic going for another week, the Cards will be in a great position to pull off an upset win at home.
Jaguars vs. Cardinals NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Arizona Cardinals +3 (-120)
- Moneyline Bet: Arizona Cardinals (+130)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 47.5 (-110)
Cleveland Browns vs. Las Vegas Raiders Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cleveland Browns | +3.5 (-115) | +160 | Over 36.5 (-115) |
| Las Vegas Raiders | -3.5 (-105) | -185 | Under 36.5 (-105) |
The rookie QB duo of Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders was unable to lead the Browns to an upset win over the Ravens last week. Gabriel exited the game with a concussion, with the Browns up 16-10.
Sanders played the entire second half, but completed just four of his 16 pass attempts for 47 yards. He was also sacked twice and threw a costly interception.
With Gabriel likely out this week, Sanders will make his first career start. The Raiders, who allow 25.3 PPG and 326.9 YPG, should be a much easier opponent for Sanders than Baltimore was.
Las Vegas has lost four straight, being outscored 104-52 over that span. They have also allowed 31+ points in three of their last four games.
Cleveland’s defense is great at times, and Myles Garrett leads the league with 15 sacks. If Garrett can wreck the Raiders’ offensive game plan this week, then the Browns can secure the road upset in Las Vegas.
Cardinals vs. Seahawks NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Cleveland Browns +3.5 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Cleveland Browns (+160)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 36.5 (-105)
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Philadelphia Eagles | -3 (-120) | -175 | Over 48 (-105) |
| Dallas Cowboys | +3 (-110) | +150 | Under 48 (-115) |
The Eagles’ offense has struggled lately, scoring 17 or fewer points in four of their last six games. On the other hand, Philadelphia’s defense has turned a corner and quickly become one of the best units in the league.
Philly’s defense is a major reason the Eagles are laying three points this Sunday in Dallas. These teams played in the season opener, with the Eagles picking up a 24-20 win. Dallas is a +150 moneyline underdog at home.
The Cowboys’ offense has been fantastic at home, averaging 37.75 PPG at Jerry’s World this season. Despite their high-scoring efforts, they are just 2-1-1 at home.
Dallas made moves at the deadline to try to address the defensive issues, but this is the first test for the Cowboys’ reconstructed defense. This game will also be a major challenge for Dallas’s offensive line, as the Eagles have 12 sacks in the last four games.
Philadelphia has also not allowed a 300-yard passer this year. If their defense holds, the Eagles will secure the regular-season sweep of the Cowboys this weekend.
Eagles vs. Cowboys NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Philadelphia Eagles -3 (-120)
- Moneyline Bet: Philadelphia Eagles (-175)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 48 (-115)
Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Atlanta Falcons | +2 (-115) | +110 | Over 39.5 (-110) |
| New Orleans Saints | -2 (-105) | -130 | Under 39.5 (-110) |
Two of the worst teams in the NFL face off this weekend in the Big Easy as the Saints (2-8) welcome the Falcons (3-7) to New Orleans. The Saints took down the Panthers in Week 10 and had a bye last week.
Atlanta, on the other hand, has lost five straight games, including a defeat last week to Carolina. The Falcons will be without Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London, who are dealing with knee injuries.
Without their starting QB and top WR, it is not surprising that the Falcons are 2-point underdogs this weekend.
Atlanta will turn to Kirk Cousins as its starter. Cousins was 7-7 as the Falcons’ starter last year, but lost his only start of the season this year. His familiarity with the offense should make it easy for Cousins to slide back into the QB1 role, and the Saints’ defense, which allows 25 PPG, is ripe for the upset on Sunday.
Falcons vs. Saints NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Atlanta Falcons +2 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Atlanta Falcons (+110)
- Over/Under Bet: Under 39.5 (-110)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Los Angeles Rams Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tampa Bay Buccaneers | +6.5 (-105) | +265 | Over 49.5 (-110) |
| Los Angeles Rams | -6.5 (-115) | -330 | Under 49.5 (-110) |
The Buccaneers, who have lost three of their last four, take their slim lead in the NFC South to the West Coast this weekend. Tampa Bay are 6.5-point underdogs against the Rams at SoFi.
Baker Mayfield and company are just a half-game ahead of the Panthers in the NFC South, and they cannot afford another loss this weekend. Unfortunately for Bucs’ fans, the Rams’ stout defense has led them to five straight wins. LA has held three of the last five opponents to 10 points or fewer.
Tampa Bay is 4-2 on the road this season, but their +2 point differential is the second-worst of any division leader so far this year. For comparison, LA has a +100 point differential, second only to Seattle (+101) for the best in the conference.
Injuries derailed what could have been a great season for the Buccaneers. Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin could return to the lineup this week, providing valuable help to a Bucs’ offense that has struggled with consistency. The Bucs are unlikely to win, but the returns of Irving and Godwin should help Tampa Bay cover the spread.
Buccaneers vs. Rams NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers+6.5 (-105)
- Moneyline Bet: Los Angeles Rams (-330)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 49.5 (-110)
Carolina Panthers vs. San Francisco 49ers Preview: Odds, Betting Lines, Best Bets
| Team | Spread | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Carolina Panthers | +6.5 (+100) | +260 | Over 48.5 (-115) |
| San Francisco 49ers | -6.5 (-120) | -320 | Under 48.5 (-105) |
This week’s Monday Night Football contest also pits the NFC South vs. the NFC West. Carolina (6-5) heads to the Bay Area to face the 49ers (7-4).
San Francisco are 6.5-point favorites against the visiting Panthers (+260) this week.
Carolina has a winning record despite sporting a -42 point differential this season. The Panthers are 5-2 in their last seven games, and their rushing attack has been a major reason for their success. San Francisco allows over 100 rushing YPG, but it has held opponents to 4.1 YPC.
Brock Purdy returned last week, racking up 200 passing yards, three TDs, and a 133.5 QB rating in his first action since Week 4. Another week to get into rhythm should help Purdy put together an even better performance this weekend.
The 49ers also have the best player in this contest, former Carolina Panther Christian McCaffrey. This is CMC’s first game against Carolina after the Panthers traded him to the 49ers mid-season in 2022. McCaffrey will show out against the team that drafted him, but the Panthers will keep the score close enough to cover.
Panthers vs. 49ers NFL Week 12 Best Bets:
- Points Spread Bet: Carolina Panthers +6.5 (+100)
- Moneyline Bet: San Francisco 49ers (-320)
- Over/Under Bet: Over 48.5 (-115)
