The KT Wiz look poised to deliver a strong performance in Wednesday’s showdown with the LG Twins at Jamsil Baseball Stadium.
Patrick Murphy takes the mound for his third start in the KBO and has wasted no time establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with in Korean baseball.
Over six innings split between his first taste of the KBO against the NC Dinos and Hanwha Eagles, Murphy sports a flawless 0.00 ERA and a 0.50 WHIP. In those outings, he allowed only one hit total while projecting confidence and control that few imports manage so early in their tenure.
Meanwhile, Son Ju‑young heads the Twins’ rotation following a rough stretch against KT. In just 4.2 innings versus the Wiz, he has posted a 7.71 ERA and 2.36 WHIP, which underscores his struggles against the offense.
Kiwoom Heroes vs. SSG Landers: SSG -1.5 (-115)

The Kiwoom pitching staff is in free fall, posting a league‑worst 5.68 ERA, while their offense sits at a lowly .238 batting average in the KBO. Against that backdrop, Moon Seung‑won provides stability for the Landers.
Although his overall stats (4.39 ERA, 1.32 WHIP across 13 games) are modest, he has dominated the Heroes recently, posting a sparkling 1.59 ERA with a win in a previous outing.
