John Harbaugh Next Team Odds and Predictions – Where Will Harbaugh Land?

The Giants fired Brian Daboll in November, with offensive coordinator Mike Kafka taking over for the rest of the season. They finished 3-14, and went through several changes, notably, switching from Russell Wilson to rookie Jaxson Dart at quarterback. The Giants also suffered serious injuries, losing receiver Malik Nabers and rookie running back Cam Skattebo to season-ending injuries.

The pieces are in place for Harbaugh to step in and help build a winning culture for the Giants, who have had one season of .500 or better in nine years. The offense should be talented when Nabers and Skattebo return. The defense was 28th in yards allowed, and 26th in points allowed, so they need work there.
But getting a coach like Harbaugh in the door is a game-changer, and the Giants need a spark after a tough time in their history. It’s no surprise that they’ve emerged as the favorites in the John Harbaugh next team odds.

The Raiders fired Pete Carroll after just one season, going 3-14 in 2025. Minority owner Tom Brady looks to be leading the search for a head coach, and working with Brady is always a draw.

Las Vegas also has the #1 pick in the draft, in which they’re favored to select Indiana quarterback and Heisman winner, Fernando Mendoza, as Geno Smith is probably gone. That would give Harbaugh something to work with, although the Raiders require a lot more. They don’t have much at receiver outside of tight end Brock Bowers. Running back Ashton Jeanty had a solid rookie season. The defense isn’t terrible, finishing 14^th in yards allowed, but they were 25^th in points allowed.

Is that enough to lure Harbaugh, who is 64 and probably wants to go somewhere he can win sooner than later? I don’t think so, but I expect the Raiders to try.

The Browns fired Kevin Stefanski, who won Coach of the Year twice in Cleveland, after six seasons. Coincidentally, Stefanski was the favorite to go to the Giants in this wild NFL head coaching carousel before the Harbaugh news broke.

This is an intriguing option in the John Harbaugh next team odds for many reasons. He grew up a Browns fan, as Harbaugh’s mother is from Cleveland. The defense is excellent, led by Myles Garrett, who broke the NFL single-season sacks record. However, the offense needs a lot of work, and they have to decide if Shedeur Sanders is their quarterback.

Would Harbaugh go to the Browns, bitter rivals of the Ravens, after doing battle with them for 18 years? They may have to add a couple of zeroes to his salary. But after being one of the NFL’s laughingstocks for so long, I think the Browns would do it. Would Harbaugh?

They dismissed Raheem Morris shortly after the season ended, as the Falcons were 8-9. They’re not as far off as some other teams, and have two potential superstars on offense in receiver Drake London and running back Bijan Robinson. They probably need a new quarterback, as Kirk Cousins is most likely on his way out, and Michael Penix Jr. can’t stay healthy. Atlanta also has a middle-of-the-road defense.

But there is something there, and it’s not like the NFC South is a juggernaut. Three teams finished 8-9, and Carolina won it on a tiebreaker. Getting Harbaugh could make it easier to find a quarterback. The Falcons are definitely on the table in the John Harbaugh next team odds!

The Dolphins finished 7-10 in their fourth season under Mike McDaniel, who has a 35-33 record in Miami. They are also looking for a general manager, and have brought in former Dallas legend Troy Aikman to help with the search.

McDaniel’s time could be up in Miami, where Tua Tagovailoa said he wouldn’t mind a fresh start somewhere else, but would probably stay if Harbaugh came down south. That said, I’m not sure the Dolphins want to be in the Tua business anymore. Running back De’Von Achane is a stud, but the Dolphins need help at receiver, and that’s with Tyreek Hill still on the roster.

It would be a big swing for the Dolphins, who are trying to keep up with New England and Buffalo in the AFC East. The news that they’ve already reached out to the former Baltimore coach means they’re a player in the John Harbaugh next team odds.

Why not? The Cowboys were 7-9-1 this season, and fired defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus after a disaster of a campaign. Dallas was 30^th in yards allowed, and dead last in points allowed. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer was up and down in his first season in Dallas.

The offense was outstanding behind quarterback Dak Prescott, finishing second in yards, and seventh in points. Harbaugh could be brought in to steady the other side of the ball. Jones would also love Harbaugh’s pedigree of being a Super Bowl winner, even though it was back in 2012. The Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl since 1995, which is also the last time they were in the NFC title game. With Jerry Jones at the helm, anything is possible, and no one likes to shake things up more than Jones!
