There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

Doosan Bears vs. Hanwha Eagles: Hanwha (-134)

The Doosan Bears and Hanwha Eagles return for the second of third matchup at Hanwha Life Eagles Park. Hanwha edged ahead for a 6-2 win behind a strong effort from Ryan Weiss on the mound. On Wednesday, the Eagles should get another solid performance from starter Cho Dong-uk in this one.

Cho heads to the hill sporting an ERA of 3.70 through 24.1 innings. In his second year in the KBO, Cho has been used primarily as a reliever, so this is a nice promotion for him. Cho’s work in the bullpen warrants a look at him in the starting rotation. He is a young 20-year-old and had plenty of hype when he entered the league last season.

With the Eagles pulling ahead for a 6-0 lead going into the 9th inning, their bullpen will be fresh and ready for this matchup, too. Look for Cho to hold his own, while the bullpen is likely to follow suit. The Bears assign Choi Won-joon to the bump for his 14th start of the 2025 campaign. Having entered the KBO in 2018, the 30-year-old is the more experienced starter, but I don’t know if he’s stronger.

Last season, Cho finished with a 6.46 ERA and 1.45 WHIP in 24 outings. He stabilized in 2025, but still has been erratic with a 4.61 ERA through 68.1 innings. Cho has also been spotty on the road, especially recently, as he’s conceded eight earned runs over his last two showings away from home.

In short, the Eagles are worth a look as one of the best KBO picks today!

Lotte Giants vs. KZ Wiz: Under 8 (-115)

The Lotte Giants and KT Wiz square off following a 12-3 blowout in favor of the Wiz yesterday. Park Se-woong was all out of form in the loss for the Wiz. For today’s matchup, I anticipate both starting pitchers getting into a groove and delivering solid results.

Emmanuel De Jesus aims to continue his fantastic work in the 2025 season. The former Miami Marlin from Venezuela enters with a 2.51 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in only his second year in the KBO. He was impressive with the Kiwoom Heroes as a rookie, posting a 3.68 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in 30 starts.

Failing to re-sign De Jesus has proven to be a huge miss for the Heroes, as De Jesus has only built on that campaign. Additionally, he is 1-0 with an ERA of 0.00 and a 0.29 WHIP across seven innings versus the Giants this season. Look for De Jesus to work quickly past the Giants in this one.

Likewise, Giants’ starter Tucker Davidson is in a great position to excel. Davidson recorded a 2.84 ERA and 0.95 WHIP in 6.1 frames versus the Wiz in March. Furthermore, Davidson holds a rock-solid overall ERA of 3.44 and a 1.36 WHIP through 73.1 frames.

Aside from a horrific performance in his latest start against the Heroes, Davidson has allowed three or fewer earned runs in 11 of 12 starts in 2025! So, I suggest considering the under 8 runs for your KBO betting picks Wednesday.
