There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

Hanwha Eagles vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Hanwha Eagles (-168)

The Hanwha Eagles and Kiwoom Heroes open a three-game series at the Gocheok Sky Dome on Friday. The Heroes remain in the basement of the KBO with a record of 26-55-3. They are coming off back-to-back losses following a rare 7-3 win over the KT Wiz.

They’ll assign ace Raul Alcántara to the bump for the series opener. Alcántara gives the Heroes their best chance of winning ball games, but it should be difficult with Cody Ponce on the mound for the Eagles. The Heroes’ starter enters with an ERA of 2.97 and a 1.29 WHIP through five games and 30.1 innings.

He recently returned to the starting rotation after overcoming an injury. However, run support is still limited by an anemic Heroes’ offense. The Heroes rank dead last in the KBO, with a team batting average of .238 and 296 RBIs. Look for Ponce to control the bats in this one.

Ponce has been one of the best pitchers in the league in 2025. The former Pittsburgh Pirate holds a 1.99 ERA and a perfect 11-0 record! Additionally, Ponce has a 0.77 ERA and a 2-0 record versus the Heroes this season. The KBO All-Star Game starter should bolster his numbers on Thursday.

In short, I suggest backing the Eagles on the moneyline for your best KBO picks today! I think they should be closer to a -200 favorite than what we’re getting currently at BetNow.

SSG Landers vs. NC Dinos: Under 8.0 (-120)

The SSG Landers embark on a three-day trip to Changwon NC Park for a weekend series versus the Dinos. Both teams will get started with strong hurlers on the mound. Andrew Anderson and Logan Allen are tabbed as the starters for the series opener.

Anderson aims to build on a rock-solid 2.11 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in his second year in the KBO. As a rookie in the KBO, Anderson posted an ERA of 3.89 and a 1.31 WHIP in 24 appearances. With a year of experience under his belt, Anderson is in red-hot form this season.

Note that in 16 outings, Anderson hasn’t allowed more than three earned runs, and one or none in eight of his previous 11 showings. I’m confident that Anderson can keep things rolling on the road against the Dinos! Allen counters with a 3.02 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 98.1 innings of work.

The 28-year-old is in efficient form as of late, with no earned runs in his last two starts across 15 innings of work! Expect Anderson and Allen to duel on the mound, so I recommend the under 8 runs as one of the best KBO bets on Friday!
