There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

Kiwoom Heroes vs. LG Twins: LG -1.5 (-145)

The Kiwoom Heroes and LG Twins square off in the series opener of this weekday series at Jamsil Baseball Stadium. The Heroes continue their quest to try to get out of the basement of the KBO, but to no avail.

They enter with a record of 26-59-3, which puts them 24.5 games behind the first-place Hanwha Eagles. It’s unlikely to get any better with Ha Yeong-min on the mound. Ha heads to the mound with an ERA of 4.93 and a 1.46 WHIP. As a team, the Heroes rank dead last with a 5.44 ERA.

Additionally, Ha owns a 9.00 ERA and a 0-2 record versus the Twins in two starts. Look for the Twins, who are tied for first in the KBO with 402 RBIs, to exploit Ha’s weak arm again in this one. On the opposite side, Im Chan-kyu gets the call for the Twins.

Im is in top form, with a 2.88 ERA and 1.18 WHIP across 16 games and 97 innings. He has locked down the Heroes for a 2.37 ERA and a 2-1 record in 2025. I have confidence in Im finishing ahead of Ha in this matchup!

In short, I recommend backing the Twins on the runline as one of the best KBO picks today.

LG Twins -1.5

HKT Wiz vs. SSG Landers: KT Wiz (+130)

The SSG Landers are the favorites to oust the KT Wiz, but I think the value is on the underdogs. The Wiz head into Tuesday with a 43-40-3 record and on the heels of back-to-back losses to the Doosan Bears.

With Bae Je-seong receiving the starting assignment, the Wiz should have a stronger chance of getting the win today. The Wiz’s Bae holds a 2.89 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 9.1 innings. Despite the small sample size, Bae looks better than ever since his injury.

In eight years in the KBO, Bae has posted an ERA of 4.18 and a 1.52 WHIP. He missed all of last season after a down year with a 4.49 ERA in 2023. All signs point to Bae regaining his form from 2021, when he recorded a 3.68 ERA and 1.47 WHIP.

I prefer backing Bae as an underdog over the Landers’ Kim Kwang-hyun. Kim heads to the bump with a 4.31 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 16 games and 87.2 innings. He boasts an ERA of 4.22 and a 0-1 record versus the Wiz this season.

Offensively, the Wiz hold the advantage, with 360 RBIs and a .257 batting average versus the Landers’ .245 average and 320 RBIs. In other words, the Wiz as underdogs on the moneyline is one of the best KBO bets on Tuesday!
