Doosan Bears vs. SSG Landers: SSG -1.5 (+100)

After Thursday and Friday were rained out, the Doosan Bears and SSG Landers hope to get this series started at Incheon SSG Landers Field. The Landers should be in prime position to get this weekend over the Bears.

They bring Andrew Anderson to the mound for his 19th appearance of the season. Anderson heads into Saturday’s start with an ERA of 2.06 and a 0.99 WHIP through 104.2 innings of work. He’s allowed two or fewer earned runs in four of his previous five outings on the hill for the Landers.

He’s also allowed more than three earned runs in just two showings this season! Additionally, Anderson has been solid against the Bears in the past with a 3.72 ERA and 1-0 record. Conversely, Bears’ starter Cole Irvin, formerly of the Oakland Athletics, posted an ERA of 5.40 against the Landers in 2025.

Overall, Irvin boasts an ERA of 4.46 and a 1.43 WHIP through 84.2 frames. I think he thought it’d be a little easier pitching in South Korea, but Irvin has been wildly inconsistent. Give me the Landers on the runline at this generous price of even money!

Kiwoom Heroes vs. Samsung Lions: Under 9.5 (-125)

Like the Bears-Landers matchup, the Kiwoom Heroes and Samsung Lions were rained out the last two days. We’ll see if they can finally get the post-All-Star Game stretch started on Saturday.

I look at the total in this one and see an inflated number! 9.5 runs is a touch too high for my liking with Raul Alcantara and Garabito Gerson on the mound. Alcantara has been in fantastic form for the Heroes since 2020.

Alcantara has recorded a sharp 2.86 ERA and 1.23 WHIP through seven starts in 2025. He got onto the mound later than he wanted to this season due to an injury. However, Alcantara hasn’t skipped a beat, as the 32-year-old from the Dominican Republic has allowed three or fewer earned runs in six of seven performances.

Gerson gets the nod with a 2.57 ERA and 1.21 WHIP through three starts and 14 innings. The 29-year-old was with the Texas Rangers earlier this season and couldn’t stick on the roster. Gerson posted a 9.00 ERA and was quickly released. He couldn’t cut it in the Majors, but the KBO is a good spot for him.

Everything considered, I suggest the under 9.5 for your best KBO picks today!
