There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
SSG Landers vs. Samsung Lions: Samsung -1.5 (-117)
The SSG Landers and Samsung Lions butt heads in the second of three matchups at Daegu Samsung Lions Park. Look for the Lions to have the advantage with Gerson Garabito on the mound against Kim Keon-woo for the Landers.
Garabito enters with an ERA of 2.57 across three starts and 14 innings. He’s only made three appearances in the KBO and has quickly gotten hot on the mound. Note that the former Texas Ranger has allowed four earned runs through 14 innings of work in his brief Korean baseball career.
Samsung’s Gerson Garabito made his debut for the Lions tonight. He went 5 innings, giving up only 1 hit, 0 runs, with 4K’s and got the no-decisionhttps://t.co/nxiShsSIy6

I’m optimistic that Garabito will make easy work of the Landers’ bats in this one. He’s unlikely to be perfect, but Garabito won’t have to be with the Lions’ offense taking care of Kim. The Landers’ starting pitcher heads into the contest with a 4.02 ERA and a 2-3 record.
He’s struggled against the Lions, with a 5.87 ERA and 1-1 record. The Lions are second in the KBO with a team batting average of .270, and lead the league with 100 home runs! Kim should run into a couple of potholes here, so look for the Lions to get to him in the batter’s box.
I anticipate the Lions winning by at least two runs, so consider backing the home club on the runline for your best KBO picks today!
LG Twins vs. KIA Tigers: Under 9 (-119)
The LG Twins and KIA Tigers are scheduled to clash at Gwangju-KIA Champions Field. I like the pitching matchup in this one, as Yonny Chirinos and Kim Do-hyeon receive the starting calls.
Chirinos heads to the hill with a 3.65 ERA and 7-4 record in 18 games. The KBO rookie has looked comfortable in his inaugural campaign in South Korea. He is coming off a couple of bad spots, with five and four earned runs in his previous two starts.
However, I’m confident that Chirinos will bounce back in fine form against the Tigers. He holds a respectable 4.38 ERA and 1-1 record versus the Tigers this season. Moreover, expect Kim to do his part for the Tigers at home.
Kim heads to the bump with a 3.18 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 16 matchups in 2025. He’s on pace for a career high after entering the KBO in 2019. Furthermore, Kim is in his best form as of late, with two or fewer earned runs in four of his previous five assignments.
Additionally, Kim conceded three or fewer runs in 10 of his previous 11 showings. I’m high on Kim handling the Twins on his home field on Wednesday. Likewise, Chirinos should pitch a solid game, so consider the under on this inflated total!
