There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

NC Dinos vs. Hanwha Eagles: NC (-139)

The NC Dinos and Hanwha Eagles clash in the series finale at Hanwha Life Eagles Park. The Dinos are coming off an elite pitching performance in a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. On Thursday, Shin Min-hyeok will look to do the same on the road against the Eagles.

Shin has pitched well in past starts versus Hanwha, as he’s posted an ERA of 3.00 and a 0.83 WHIP in one outing. The Eagles recorded just four hits and two runs in the loss versus Shin. Overall, Shin has been in solid shape, with a 4.21 ERA and 1.21 WHIP in 4 starts.

He was flying before getting tagged for five earned runs in his latest showing. Shin yielded two or fewer earned runs in five consecutive starts and hadn’t allowed more than three runs all season. After his worst effort of this season, expect Shin to bounce back with a strong start on Thursday.

Conversely, Eagles’ starter Um Sang-back doesn’t have the best resume against the Dinos. Um owns a 5.40 ERA against the Dinos and an overall ERA of 6.16 with a 1.68 WHIP. He’s just 1-6 on the season!

The Dinos at -139 are a fairly strong value here, so consider backing the road club for your best KBO picks today!

Samsung Lions vs. Doosan Bears: Over 8.5 (-120)

The Samsung Lions and Doosan Bears meet in the rubber match after they split the first two matchups. Samsung took the first matchup, 4-1, while Doosan responded for a 5-0 final yesterday.

I expect more fireworks on the scoreboard with Choi Won-tae and Gwak Been on the mound. Choi heads into his 15th appearance this season with an ERA of 4.94 and a 1.51 WHIP across 71 innings. Over his last four starts, Choi has gotten tagged for 11 earned runs.

Through 11 years in the KBO, Choi holds a 4.40 ERA and 1.39 WHIP. He’s been consistently mediocre in his career. However, Choi may have the upper hand over Bears’ starter Been. The 26-year-old is struggling to get on track, with a 5.67 ERA and 1.41 WHIP in five starts and 27 innings.

He’s feeling the heat as of late, with 10 earned runs yielded over his previous 11.1 frames. The Lions are third in the KBO, having recorded a .265 batting average and 384 RBIs. Additionally, they lead the league in home runs with 86 long balls.

With this in mind, I’m riding with the over for our free KBO bets today!
