Kiwoom Heroes vs. NC Dinos: NC Dinos -1.5 (-130)
The NC Dinos are a strong runline play at -130, poised to win by at least two over the overmatched Kiwoom Heroes. The Heroes picked up a rare win yesterday, but I expect them to revert to their typical form.

Kiwoom has been brutal all year, stumbling into this matchup with a 29‑71‑4 record and a bleak 29% win rate. They’re buried in the standings, trailing first-place Hanwha by 31.5 games, and their pitching has been a disaster. The Heroes own the league’s worst team ERA at 5.59.
Starter Park Ju‑seong hasn’t helped. His 6.33 ERA and 1.45 WHIP are ugly enough, but he’s been lit up by the Dinos in 2025, allowing a staggering 14.73 ERA in head-to-head action. Offensively, it’s no better, as Kiwoom ranks dead last in team batting average in the KBO at .237.
Dinos’ starter Cho Min‑suk doesn’t have dominant numbers on paper with a 4.82 ERA, but he’s trending in the right direction, allowing just one earned run over his last 5.2 innings.
This sets up perfectly for NC to cruise past the runline.
Samsung Lions vs. SSG Landers: Under 9.5 (-125)
The total sits at 9.5 runs for Samsung vs. SSG, but this number feels inflated given the form of both starters.
Lee Seung-hyun’s 4.72 ERA might not pop at first glance, but he’s found a groove. The lefty has allowed three or fewer earned runs in ten straight starts, holding opponents to one or none in half of them. He’s also had the Landers’ number this season, posting a sharp 2.00 ERA across two matchups.
On the other side, Andrew Anderson continues to dominate in Year 2 with the Landers. His 2.39 ERA and 1.04 WHIP place him among the KBO’s best.
He’s been especially stingy lately, yielding two or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts. Against the Lions, Anderson has been nearly unhittable, with a pristine 1.29 ERA in 2025.
With both pitchers in rhythm and recent trends backing a low-scoring game, the under 9.5 is the clear value play.
