Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), August 27
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
KIA Tigers vs. SSG Landers: SSG -1.5 (-115)
The SSG Landers are a compelling play on the runline at odds of -115 as they welcome the unflappable Andrew Anderson to the mound. Anderson ranks among the KBO’s elite with a stingy 2.21 ERA and a rock‑solid 1.05 WHIP across 138.1 innings of work.
His recent form is even more impressive. He has not allowed an earned run across his previous 11.2 innings and has held opponents to two or fewer runs in each of his last five outings. When facing the Tigers this season, Anderson has been nigh‑untouchable, registering a microscopic 0.77 ERA.

On the other side, Kim Do‑hyeon’s struggles are glaring. His 4.66 ERA and elevated 1.41 WHIP through 21 starts speak for themselves. Those issues have only been magnified recently he has surrendered at least four earned runs in each of his last four starts for a total of 27 earned runs allowed.
With that contrast in arms, the Landers on the runline look like a solid value bet..
Hanwha Eagles vs. Kiwoom Heroes: Hanwha Eagles (-150)
The Hanwha Eagles are positioned well to cash again on the moneyline Wednesday, with young stud Moon Dong-ju taking the hill. The 20-year-old has delivered all season, compiling a 3.36 ERA and a 9-3 record through over 100 innings. He’s already shut down the Heroes once this year, throwing six scoreless frames in a win earlier in the season.

Kiwoom continues to limp offensively, ranking dead last in the KBO with a .242 team batting average and just 450 RBIs. That lack of production leaves little margin for error, especially against a composed arm like Moon’s.
C.C. Mercedes gets the nod for Kiwoom, but his early KBO numbers don’t inspire much confidence. The lefty owns a 4.67 ERA across three starts and is coming off a rough outing where he gave up five earned runs.
Given the starting pitching edge and Kiwoom’s offensive struggles, Hanwha at -150 is a reliable pick.
