The Samsung Lions look like one of the sharper runline plays in KBO action on Wednesday, and this matchup only reinforces that view.
Gerson Garabito profiles as the clear ace in this contest. He has been exemplary with a 2.28 ERA and a tidy 1.07 WHIP heading into this outing. In two of his last three starts, he has not allowed an earned run, showcasing his dominance and consistency on the mound.

On the other side, Ha Yeong‑min offers little confidence. He brings a 7‑12 record paired with a 5.55 ERA and a 1.48 WHIP over 24 starts. That level of performance simply does not match up well.
The Lions have severely exposed Ha in their previous matchups. His 9.64 ERA against them and a 0‑3 record speak volumes about the mismatch at hand. Given the sharp pitching contrast, the Lions’ runline play is firmly in focus.
Samsung Lions vs. Hanwha Eagles: Hanwha -1.5 (+100)
All signs point to a low-scoring affair when the NC Dinos face the Hanwha Eagles, with elite starting pitching setting the tone.
Cody Ponce has been nearly untouchable all season, boasting a 1.66 ERA and a dominant 0.88 WHIP across a perfect 16-0 record. He’s controlled this Dinos lineup with ease, allowing just a 1.50 ERA over two previous matchups. Expect him to continue dictating the tempo from the mound.

On the other side, Shin Min-hyeok hasn’t been nearly as sharp overall, but the total still leans under given Ponce’s ability to neutralize scoring chances. Even with Shin’s 5.11 ERA and 6.46 mark against Hanwha, the Eagles don’t need a breakout offensive night to keep this one tight.
With Ponce expected to go deep and minimize NC’s production, the under offers strong value in a game that profiles as a pitcher’s duel early and often.
