There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
Hanwha Eagles vs. Samsung Lions: Hanwha (+102)
The Hanwha Eagles present standout value on the moneyline against the Samsung Lions at even odds. Backing Moon Dong‑ju and the Eagles is the sharp play here.
Lee Seung‑hyun will toe the rubber for the Lions, carrying a 5.16 ERA and 1.52 WHIP. His recent form raises red flags, with eight earned runs across his last seven innings, underlining a clear dip in effectiveness. He’s also had trouble specifically against the Eagles, managing just a 5.73 ERA in three starts.
Hanwha’s Moon Dong-ju pitched 6 innings, 3 hits, 1 unearned run, with 7K’s as the Eagles beat Kiwoom 3-1. Moon won his 10th game of the season, the first time the 21-year old has reached double digit wins in a season https://t.co/ut4LT7mfCh

In contrast, Moon is sharp and reliable. His overall 3.18 ERA reflects consistent quality, and he’s even more impressive versus the Lions, featuring a stingy 2.31 ERA in two outings. That form differential and matchup edge gives the Eagles the clear advantage tonight.
Backing Hanwha to cash at +102 feels like the smart money with confidence.
LG Twins vs. Doosan Bears: Under 8.5 (-120)
The under is well worth a look when the LG Twins meet the Doosan Bears, with elite pitching form on both sides setting the tone.
William Tolhurst has been nothing short of dominant since arriving in the KBO. The right-hander owns a minuscule 0.36 ERA and 0.96 WHIP over four starts, surrendering just one earned run across 25 innings. His transition to the Twins has been seamless since debuting on August 12, and he enters this matchup in complete command.
Across the diamond, Cole Irvin gives the Bears a strong counter. He’s been solid against LG, posting a 2.12 ERA in three starts, and he’s allowed three or fewer earned runs in nine of his last ten outings. The former Phillies’ starter’s 4.34 ERA overall is steady and gives the Bears a chance to keep things tight.
With both starters trending strongly and familiar with their opponents, the under is the right call.
