There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
Hanwha Eagles vs. Samsung Lions: Lions -1.5 RL (-159)
The Samsung Lions quietly snagged seven wins out of their last ten outings and their opponents, the Hanwha Eagles, posted the exact same recent record. On paper the matchup seems tight until you dig into the pitching matchup.
Samsung turns to Won Tae‑in, whose season has been impressive with a 3.22 ERA. He’s been even better against the Eagles, with 2.84 across three games.
That’s a stark contrast to Hanwha’s choice of Hwang Jun‑seo. He carries a 5.48 ERA this season and in two games against the Lions he’s yielded enough runs to ride his ERA all the way to 15.43 versus this opponent! Their offense is crushing him every time.
And the stakes favor Samsung too. The Lions are neck and neck in a playoff fight. The Eagles have much less to play for – second place is nearly locked up.
Overall, the Lions should win this one comfortably, making the -1.5 RL one of the best KBO bets today.
SSG Landers vs. LG Twins: LG Twins to Win (-148)
The LG Twins sit comfortably atop the KBO standings and they’re not easing off the gas. Winners of seven of their last ten, this team is playing with confidence and consistency as the regular season winds down.
That edge extends to the mound. Im Chan‑kyu gets the ball for the Twins and he’s been a problem for opposing lineups all year. His 2.74 ERA is impressive on its own, but the real kicker is what he’s done specifically to the Landers. In two starts against them this season, he’s allowed just one run over twelve innings, good for a microscopic 0.75 ERA.
SSG counters with veteran Kim Kwang‑hyun, but he’s struggled to keep teams in check. A 4.63 ERA doesn’t inspire much faith, especially against the league’s best.
With the clear advantage in form and on the mound, the Twins are the play on the moneyline.
