Best KBO Predictions Today (With Reasoning), September 23
There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
NC Dinos vs. Lotte Giants: Over 10 (-120)
The total looks like the sharpest angle in Tuesday’s matchup between the NC Dinos and Lotte Giants. Both starting pitchers come in with shaky form that points toward plenty of scoring opportunities on both sides.
Shin Min-hyeok has managed a winning record this season, but the surface numbers tell a different story. His 4.91 ERA and 1.34 WHIP leave little margin for error, and he has been at his worst against the Giants. In three starts against them, he owns a rough 7.71 ERA, consistently getting hit hard by this lineup.

Lotte’s Park Se-woong has not fared much better. His 4.98 ERA and 1.47 WHIP across 27 appearances show the same inconsistency, and recent outings have been a struggle, with 11 earned runs surrendered over his last four starts.
With both pitchers prone to damage, the OVER is the most reliable play in this spot.
Doosan Bears vs. Samsung Lions: Samsung Lions Moneyline (-145)
The Samsung Lions look like the stronger side in Tuesday’s meeting with the Doosan Bears, and the edge on the mound is a big reason why. Gerson Garabito is one of the most reliable arms in the KBO this season, and his track record against Doosan only strengthens the case.

Garabito enters with a sparkling 2.27 ERA and 1.14 WHIP across 71.1 innings, showing command and consistency every time out. Against the Bears specifically, he is dominant, giving up just one earned run in two starts for a 0.90 ERA. That kind of control makes it tough to back the other side.
Doosan’s Cole Irvin started the year well, but his form has slipped badly. Over his last three appearances, he has been tagged for 13 earned runs, and his season ERA has ballooned to 4.50. Against Samsung, he has struggled to a 4.80 ERA in three tries.
With Garabito in rhythm and Irvin trending the wrong way, Samsung is the clear moneyline choice.
