There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.
KIA Tigers vs. Samsung Lions: Under 10 (-118)
The total is listed at 10 runs, but this matchup has all the makings of a low-scoring battle.
Kim Tae-hyeong steps in with a 3.72 ERA and 1.34 WHIP, showing poise well beyond his 18 years. After opening his KBO stint in the bullpen, he’s transitioned to starting without missing a beat. Across seven appearances, Kim has allowed two runs or fewer in each, totaling 19.1 innings of composed work.
On the other side, Ariel Jurado continues to be a rock in Samsung’s rotation. He’s logged over 190 innings with a sharp 2.70 ERA and 1.10 WHIP. His track record against KIA is equally impressive, having held them to a 2.77 ERA across two starts.
Samsung's Ariel Jurado pitched 7 scoreless innings, giving up only 2 hits, while striking out 3 as the Lions beat Hanwha 4-0 https://t.co/k6Nk2QfMvZ

With both pitchers trending in the right direction and neither offense likely to explode, this game profiles as one where runs come at a premium. The number looks too high given the form on the mound.
Lotte Giants vs. Hanwha Eagles: Hanhwa -1.5 (+100)
There’s strong value on the Hanwha Eagles runline in this spot, thanks to a lopsided pitching matchup and recent trends.
Ryan Weiss gets the ball for Hanwha, and he’s been lights out. The right-hander owns a 2.99 ERA and 1.06 WHIP across 29 appearances in his second KBO season. He’s been in a groove lately, holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs in four of his last five starts. Even more impressive, he’s been elite against the Giants, boasting a 1.32 ERA and a 5-0 record in head-to-head action.
Hanwha's Ryan Weiss pitched 6 scoreless innings, giving up only 1 hit, while striking out 11 as the Eagles beat Lotte 6-0 https://t.co/8DT2itFgdZ

The Giants counter with Vince Velasquez, who continues to struggle. His 9.93 ERA and 2.17 WHIP through 10 outings paint a clear picture, and the numbers get uglier against Hanwha, with a 15.00 ERA and 2.67 WHIP in just three innings.
With Weiss dealing and Velasquez vulnerable, Hanwha is well-positioned to cover the runline at plus money.
