There are important things to know before betting on the KBO. Luckily, if you don’t have time to do your own research, you can discover how we selected our KBO baseball picks each day.

Hanwha Eagles vs. SSG Landers: Hanwha -1.5 (-130)

The Hanwha Eagles look like the right side on the runline Wednesday against the SSG Landers, thanks to the dominance of Cody Ponce. The Eagles ace has been untouchable all year, carrying a sparkling 1.85 ERA and 0.93 WHIP while posting a ridiculous 17-1 record, the best mark in the KBO.

He has held opponents to one run or less in 11 of his last 14 starts and has absolutely owned the Landers with a 3-0 record and a minuscule 0.31 ERA against them this season.

On the other side, SSG turns to Choi Min-jun, who enters with a 4.10 ERA and just seven starts to his name after spending most of the year in the bullpen. While serviceable, he is overmatched in this pitching matchup.

With Ponce dealing and the Eagles already proven against this lineup, Hanwha has the clear edge to cover the runline at -130.

KT Wiz vs. KIA Tigers: Under 8 (-115)

The KT Wiz and KIA Tigers meet in a matchup that sets up well for the under at -115 with two steady arms on the hill. KT sends So Hyeong-jun, who has quietly put together a strong season with a 3.25 ERA and 1.26 WHIP across 25 outings.

He has been particularly sharp against KIA, holding them to a 2.25 ERA, which suggests he can keep their bats in check again. On the other side, Adam Oller has given the Tigers consistency all season with a 3.44 ERA and 1.14 WHIP through 25 appearances.

Against KT specifically, the former MLB hurler has been just as dependable, sporting a 3.38 ERA. His recent form is even better, as he has yielded only one earned run across his last 13 innings.

With both starters trending in the right direction and each having success against these opponents, runs should be at a premium. The under looks like the right call in this one.
